i kinda got the same feeling when i saw the one guy in a Manchester United shirt.. ofc the eagles where the focus of this episode and its just some random guy in a clip but it still gave me a jolt of happiness just seeing the shirt on always sunny

Brandon's timing is pretty insane, because outside of a few holidays/sick days, he has consistently watched 2 episodes a week starting all the way from Season 1, and even though show itself never had a regular schedule of when seasons would air.

Frank's speech is genuinely inspiring and represents this city so well. It's no Jason Kelce Art Museum speech, but it means a lot. And yes, they're our representation. I mean they're shit people but we'll take 'em I legitimately tear up at that ending. These two episodes are such a love letter from Rob back to his hometown

Not a Philly native, but an Eagles fan since 2004. I watched the game and screamed when they won. These episodes, and the ending with the reactions, always bring a tear to my eye every time. Fly Eagles, Fly 🦅

Im a Philly native, been here since 1983. When the eagles won the super bowl it was the first time I felt bad for not giving a damn about any sport on earth. All that rioting and looting looked fun.

I was recently rewatching an episode of Friends, and I could of swore I saw the waiter. I was like damn that guy is everywhere lol. If anyone else is a Friends watcher and can confirm if its him or not, it's the episode in season 6 where Ross is teaching with a fake British accent.. the kid who raises his hand and asks what's happening to his accent I think is the waiter

I didn't understand why this episode should make me cry. Maybe I didn’t understand the main point of Mac’s performance at the end.

@@user-sw5nc9pm9f As one of the very few moments of genuine emotion from the show, I think it really resonated with people. Mac was able to express something that’s been the butt of the joke for a decade on the show, but is actually really heartbreaking : how much his faith has caused him to hate himself (the performance representing his struggle with God). On top of that, his very sad and pointless attempts at getting his dad to love him were also shown outside of their usual comedic framing for once, and Danny beautifully delivering his heartfelt reaction was the cherry on top.

@@user-sw5nc9pm9f To me, I think it comes down to the idea that the Gang are, despite everything, written as people. Insane, over the top, awful people, but they are written to have layers and backgrounds that fuel who they are. Normally that's played purely for comedy, but when it comes to Mac trying to communicate the truth of his sexuality with his dad, the show drops everything and shows us *one* scene where this character's struggles and turmoil are taken 100% seriously. After years of watching this character, we understand Mac. We understand why this is so difficult for him, and that's why we're able to feel for him when the tone changes so significantly. We get it. We get it. (Plus, the dance is gorgeous. We can all admit to that.)

Just gonna point it out one more time for anyone who doesn’t know, the waiter from the Italian restaurant and this episode is the guy who interviews mac and Charlie for their jobs in I believe season 2 or 3 it might be 4 possibly whichever one they go to look for a job and have the interview where they share a resume, that guy

As an Eagles fan, this game meant so much to me that I celebrate Feb. 4th as a holiday. The way things look for them now, I probably won't get to see it again lol. Even the Rocky victory song at the end and seeing the celebration...goose bumps.

And the Lions have had some good seasons since then, But there have been several rule changes over the years directly related to the zebras screwing us over. I know everyone thinks that there team gets screwed, but it’s a documented fact that the Lions have been screwed out of major wins to get to the playoffs, or in the playoffs. But yeah, that was my point. I can’t actually feel sorry for any other fan base...except maybe the browns.

Always hated how Dennis wasn't part of these episodes... Fun Fact: Part 1 with only charlie was voted as lowest rated episode of Sunny according to fans. Philly fans are the worst but they somehow made them likeable in this episode. 👍🏽

I feel like Mac was way out of character for this episode… it’s like he adopted parts of Dennis’ characteristics. I guess you can attribute that to the gang being unhinged without Dennis keeping them in place, so they needed someone to hold them together. Just doesn’t fit with Mac, since he is one of the unhinged.
