THIS. You’ve just begun dozens of consecutive EXCELLENT episodes. I cannot wait to see you get progressively deeper into this show. So many layers. So many thoughtful ways they address social issues unconventionally. Enjoy!

Originally the cast didn't want Danny DeVito to join The network wanted someone to boost viewership so they forced the gang to add a new high profile actor But Danny didn't try to take over and apparently really understood and respected their comedy so in the end it was a perfect match!

Not quite. The cast objected to the "big name" concept in general, not Danny in particular. They've been specific about it.

Artemis DID lose her job at Wawa. It's a convenience store chain (like 7-11, but better and with WAY more offerings) located in the Eastern halves of Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia as well as New Jersey, Delaware, and Florida (because people on the East Coast retire down there so they end up with a bit of everything North and South) Wawa is the Philly convenience store whereas Sheetz is the Pittsburgh equivalent, and there's a bit of a rivalry. Rob McElhenney is originally from Philly, so little touches like that are often his doing :) And I know this is going to be impossible to believe after this insane episode... but this is just the beginning. They haven't even begun to peak

On the drunk driving at the beginning; Dennis rarely (never?) lets anyone else drive his Range Rover, and especially not Dee. Not that that makes it any better, of course. The brunette stripper who goes home with Frank is Natasha Leggero, who is hilarious. She's been on "Drunk History" a few times, and has a great satire of "Downton Abbey"-style dramas with Riki Lindholme (half of "Garfunkel and Oates", with Kate Micucci) called "Another Period". The Black stripper later in the episode is Tiffany Haddish, who went on to be an incredible success in comedy and show-biz in general (eg. she's Tuca to Awkwafina's Bertie in the riotous "Tuca & Bertie").

"Welcome to the party, Pal" Things get...interesting from here on out. Danny is such a great addition to the cast (I only recently learnt about his production studio and some of the impressive things he's been apart of!) No spoilers, but, keep a close eye on his character and how it "evolves" 🤣 It's also crazy, but a lot of people think its still a couple of seasons before the show finds its true stride!

Eve, I know you're new at reacting. I'd like to offer you some constructive criticism, and I hope you receive it in the spirit it was given, because I do adore you, and I want to see your channel become as successful as it can. The best reactors in the biz give more of a reaction after a TV episode ends, whereas you say one or two sentences about what you just watched, if that, and then you begin to sign off with your thank-yous and so on. Now to be clear, I'm not talking about your movie reactions (your final reaction to "Rain Man" was quite substantial and quite insightful), but rather your IASIP reactions. Yes, it's great for us viewers to see your reaction during the show, but that alone is not quite enough. There really ought to be more substance, and more time devoted to your final reaction commentary for half-hour TV episodes you react to. Maybe 2 more minutes. Even 1 would help. You could recap the episode, and tell us what your favorite parts were. Or you could talk about what each member of the gang did, and give an award to whichever one in that episode was the biggest asshole. (Then at the end of each season you can count up who got the most "Biggest Asshole" trophies! lol) Or some similar angle, to get some more of your thoughts expressed to us. :D

That’s great advice, I’ll definitely take that on board 🙌🏽☺️ wasn’t sure if people were interested in a little wrap up of the show from me, but now that I know there’s an appetite for it, I’ll look into including some commentary at the end!

I should point out that watching Million Dollar Baby (2004) could help in understanding the reference of an It's Always Sunny episode that takes place in season 2. It's not essential viewing to understanding it or anything, but if Eve is interested, it wouldn't be a bad idea. It's Always Sunny also references the movie Lethal Weapon (1989) and Serpico (1973) later on in the series.
