I love your videos would you please consider having the music at a lower volume? I have to turn up the volume so I can hear what you are saying then mute the music as it's so loud.

Absolutely love this! And once again the workmanship is second to none. Can’t wait to see it come along. I would love to do a SWB series 3 soft top in a similar blue but with all the galv bits and wheels in an off white/cream. One day. Hope you’re well mate 👍🏻🛠

With all the drilling to put the galvanised parts back on, did you coat the exposed metal to stop any rusting in the future?

Andrew Johnson not necessary, rivets expand an incredible amount and crush both panels together. It’s water tight so won’t rust 🙏🏻

Haha me too, but steel wheels are designed for bang on weights. They look better for it but agreed not a nice process

I have a td5 90 I want to look as good as yours mines Caledonian blue, I also have the same pepper pot wheels. You seemed to like the colour coded crossmember I prefer them black. Anyway looking smart🙂👍

You should have sealed the spots that was drilled through to the bod. It will start a problem. If it is possible seal the hole galv. bod surface.

Paul S there isn’t a great enough lip for stick ons so they’d look weird, we did have a go but steel wheels are designed for bang on weights. The paint is 2k and hasn’t marked 😎
