Let’s thank the logistician reddit activists on here for taking time out of their busy days, as unemployed adult-children, to lecture us about the woes of agriculture and the importance of integrating apex predators. We don’t need food, we need to make sure that we provide an inclusive environment for Two Socks and the gang. Can’t have them wreaking havoc on the Denver labradoodle population

Born and raised in Colo.. I am moving back (retired now) and I'm looking for ANYTHING published on water quality. One has to live there to find out if it's safe. What are they hiding? Any place I have lived you can pull up required by law, testing results, and when they are carried out. I have met one person (female) who actively ranches, and rotates herds for specific veg when they are in season with the health of the cattle in mind. One look at these fools tells me they are lazy. Breed them, collect them for harvest, and check on them rarely. I would bet they do more damage to their families by smoking and alcohol. The wolf is the least of their worries! Ask them how they feel about FRACKING in their county!

Born and raised in CO means nothing.

@@danhillman4523he sounds like he spent the meantime in California. He should either move there or stay there.

It seems your comment was lazy and narrow-minded. Please, don't paint people into a certain box, and see some folks are working in best practice ways. What would I know a a dumb farmer though, right?

I don’t care about these ranchers or what they think. This group of idiots literally said they would kill these wolfs once released.

You know what the agriculture and farming industry needs on top of being treated the worst by government and society? Wolves. What could go wrong, right? While we’re at it let’s cripple the fossil fuel industry. Sure it’ll have devastating effects on food production and distribution, among other things, but what is really important is making sure that fruity urbanites feel like they’re having a positive impact on the world while they sip their lattes and IPAs in front of homeless drug addicts…

God forbid someone have to worry about their way of life that may contribute nutrition to others. If a pack of coyotes/wolves came on my farm due to too many communities being built in an area where they were thriving and getting pushed more into civilation, is it the ranchers fault to have to take care of a problem another person put upon them?

To that note, I'm all for reintroduction as well, just let it be known. We settled this country, and can't contain wildlife. But when humans continue to build and dictate where it is safe and force it on ranchers and farmers because generally the land is clear and livestock get hurt due to no coordination. That's the problem I have.

@@user-kj9zp1jm2u I'm guessing that you don't live in an area populated with wolves. I do. No, wolves are not good neighbors. I live in a place with little development (rural Alaska) and no livestock industry to speak of. Even as much as they avoid human contact (yes, we harvest them here) they can also be a bane on human activity. They will and do stalk humans, though rarely successfully, and yes, they do make kills of animals (moose and caribou here local) of which they waste much. They are NOT the peaceful pretty little creatures of your cartoons and NatGeo specials.

Wolves kill things. So you don't have a problem with killing, just people trying to feed their families and society. Wolves weren't a problem until ignorant selfish people like you made them a problem. You will face the problems and so will society, when food goes up in price due to supply issues, but again, this is just another problem you helped create with your ignorance and selfishness.
