Hahaha Parking its a nightmare.. My advice if you are going to be on regular trips, spend some time on google looking at parking areas off of the motorways. It will get you out of trouble, but given time you will learn from others where parking is available. good luck on this new venture.

Done a 3 week trip in 2015.Totally not the same as in the 90s.Eastern block drivers mob up services waiting for job.Local rouitiers won't have them as they park for up to 3 days but don't spend any money in restaurant.Totally fxx up euro work.Worst 3 weeks of my driving career.Thanks loboskis

Hi Martyn Only got round to watching this now Your toll box should work in all lanes you went into express lane (marked 30) the other lanes you need to come to a stop before barrier will rise (and yes they can be very narrow) You will get to learn your parking areas over time some can be very busy some not the best places to park but like uk you will figure out the good and bad over time All the best with it

Can't remember where that was, but you visited it a good few times. When you said you were going on containers, was great news to hear. Fond memories. Me and my hubby driving onto the ferry with the caravan, and when we arrived and went down to get in the car, we had to weave in and out around the lorries to get to the car/caravan🤣. That's sometimes the problem when you're disembarking, the latecomers. Can be so annoying as you can't move until they get to their vehicle. On the motorway towards Lille (A25), we always visited Erquimhem(?) J.9, as my hubby's Uncle David is buried in the Churchyard Extension in the village which is a Commonwealth War Graves cemetery. He was killed in action on 22 April 1915
