As many have guessed, this is indeed the musical interlude that plays when your lanterns are extinguished in the first entry in the iconic fear-inducing stageplay series, Five Sequential Evenings at Sir Frederick Fitzgerald Fazbearington's Abode.

Sir Henry and Sir William owned a canteen named Sir Fredrick Fazbear’s pastry’s. The canteen had 4 trained animals that would perform for guests. There was a bear named Sir Fredrick as the name of the canteen and the three others were a bunny named Sir Bon Bartholomew, a chicken named Madame Chica and a Fox named Foxtrot which for some peculiar reason was a pirate. There was also two fur coats of another bear and bunny they were dyed yellow their names were Sir Freadbear and Sir Bon Benjamin. One day seemingly out of jealousy for his partner Sir William lead five children into the back room of the canteen while wearing Sir Bon Benjamin. He slayed all five of them and fed four of them to the animals and one he put into Sir Freadbear. When the local knights arrived they found no trace of the children. Soon after the incident the canteen was shut down and the four animals started acting different at night they would roam the canteen and Sir Fredbear started disappearing from time to time. Sir Henry noticed this and wrote a letter to the king asking if a knight could guard the canteen at night after the animals started acting strange. The king agreed and a knight was sent. Funnily enough the knights was Sir Michael the son of Sir William. Sir William wasn’t seen again after that little did the kingdom know he had just undergone a magical transformation into a monster. One night Sir William went back to the shut down canteen only to be met by the four animals and Sir Fredbear. It was the spirits of the children they came back to haunt him. In a quick attempt to scare them he put on Sir Bon Benjamin but the material used to sow the fur together tightened around him. As he was being strangled by strings he cried out in agony and begged for help. Soon the screams stopped. The five spirits were let free and the animals began to act normal again. But one of them refused to rest. Sir William would be left in that room for three decades and when Sir Henry and Sir Michael had forgotten almost all about him they were given a message. It said “Sir Fredrick Fazbears frightening thriller opening this week” someone was trying to make a quick bit of coins off the horror of their friend and father. Sir Michael went to become the Knight guard when he arrived the second night he noticed something. It was Sir Bon Benjamin but he looked rotten and there was a corpse inside. How could it be walking it was just a fur coat. No it was his father Sir William. Eventually Sir Michael burned the place down in hopes of putting his father down for good this time he knew it was him that slayed the children three decades ago. The end I’m not typing the entire thing lol

By the sound of the instrumentation on string instruments and especially the melody sitting on a harpsichord, this sounds more like it's baroque rather than medieval. (But there is also some more non-european early instrumentation as well so it's something of a blend) Medieval musical mostly consisted of gregorian chants anyways and parallel and drone organum. Aside from my nitpicking this is a very good arrangement. I also appreciate that the swung 8th notes for the interlude are actually swung and not flat rhythm. I hate arrangements that miss the swing on notes.
