Great job you two. Anson once you cut the door out and cement the bottom floor you might be able to straighten that roof with a cedar rail and a farm jack. God Bless from your Canadian Friend.

That rope snapping on you two brought back memories of the mooring line video they showed us in boot camp. Grant it, it wasn’t a 4” mooring line but I know it had to hurt nonetheless and still created a potentially dangerous situation.

Yup we both remember that video very much and yeah Gladis got the brunt of the snap back while I went flying into the post. We are both okay just a little bruised up but we will live...haha

You guys did an excellent job moving that grain bin. Is it going to be too hot in there for the chickens, or is it best to modify it a bit, so that it is cooler in the bin?

Thank you very much. We do have a plan to keep it vented plus is under 3 post oak trees and stays in shade all day. Great question...Thanks!!

What is a "Gathering House'??? I never heard of one. Maybe because I grew up in New England......

Sandra dear I know I have answered this before but will answer again. A gathering house is just a place where family and friends can gather together in one location. This area will be able to hold several people inside for dinners or just getting out of the weather.
