Hi Ardor, the theory about benkei was born back in may when the season got accidentally leaked. The siluoette of the hero has also some kind of horns. This suggest that the benkei is also gonna have an ONI mask, like also suggested by the attackers minion, keep in mind this word: attackers. The spear theory is not stupid, but I suggest you to go back to the attacker spawn and do a 360 and you’ll find your answers about the weapons. Like Andrew said in the year 8 presentation 3 are the main thing to keep in mind: 1) The Samurai is a master of weapons (like you said) 2) The Outlander is gonna be a villain, because think about a thing Arbor, why every “unfamiliar” weapons are located to the attacker side? Because probably in the trailer that they will show the 24th the new hero is gonna come from that side, because he wants to fight Katashi, the defender of the bridge. 3) The Outlander is a female. The Benkei theory was madr realistic also by redditors for one main thing, the bridge. I’ve searched on internet the word Benkei and strangely there are some images where a bridge is involved. Your speculation are interesting, but I will repeat myself to give you a little bit of help, go back to the attacker spawn and be careful of the environment and do one more video about the weapon speculation.

There’s actually several weapons you can find on the map that belong to the new hero. There are seven in total which can be found. 1. Sickle (like Shinobi but slightly bigger) 2. A saw 3. An otsuchi (mallet/hammer) 4. Wakizashi (short sword) 5. Man catcher 6. Yari (not the ones on the rack, there’s a spear hidden behind some barrels) 7. And a smaller version of shugoki’s kanabo

Good work with the follow up video. There is defiantly something we are all missing from the intro, and the trailer. I did like what you replied to my comment with in the other Samurai video with new new hero having a Medjay type weapon swap. I had mentioned that in my own video (giving you credit of course for the video idea).Now I'm thinking it could be another character from the story mode being Seijuro that may be kind of a lame idea but a reason for that being is the fact that he thought he was better than every other character in the story mode. and the fact that the bridge in the trailer was the same one that lead to the same palace that Seijuro was in control of for a little while after the Vikings and Black Stones left. This even plays a part into your villain like hero thought because Seijuro was also villain like, because he was also a boss fight in the story. He lived but we also never saw him again after that even though the player takes control to attack Apollyon's castle we never see him there but we see almost every character within the last 2 missions that's a stretch though but a reasonable one.

The saw thing you've seen is called a sleeve-catcher they used it to detain people by sticking in sleeves of said robe and twisting it to lock a person in place

Suggestion: I have an idea for a new game mode. It uses breach maps and is an escort/boss fight. I call it: Scorpion’s run 1. You take the Egyptians move set and transpose it into a giant scorpion (final boss fight) 2. One player from each team is chosen randomly as royalty. 3. Offensive royalty can run but defensive royalty cannot. Both get health buffs, damage buffs, but no feats right from the start. 4. Players have to escort the royalty to the end of the breach match when the offensive team gets to the final map area the royalty from defensive team gets transformed/buffed into a giant scorpion 5. The game is balanced by the amount of deaths each royalty has take. Each death from the defensive team royalty opens a gate while each death from the offensive team only counts as a buff to the scorpion king 6. The game is over when the scorpion king is killed or the royalty on the offensive team is killed at the end of the map This is just a prototype idea I had. Any changes can be made. So it’s kinda an escort/boss fight type game mode

A dedicated yari hero would be cool. You can create a yari for nobushi with several weapon sets, but its not the same thing. Though i do wonder how theyre going to differentiate between nobu and the new heroes animations.

my guess is the hero will be able to switch up to anything. Shugoki turn's up you'll be able to pull out the weapon that will be hyper armour heavy Nobu turn's up you can pull out a weapon that will have fast attacks etc adjusting to any move set that you face.

he will have a hyper armor undodgeable unblockable dodge attack thatll chain into 3 unreactable light attacks into a catapult thatll give him more hyperarmor

00:37 I had already come to this same conclusion with just the season's teaser image, with the 1000 swords on a bridge, the bridge being the location of two important events for Benkei, that's where he collected the swords when he was defeated by Yoshitsune and also when he was killed by several arrows both events on a bridge, with the revelation of the season not only in the trailer did we see his shadow but also the bridge on the map is studded with countless arrows, even before they found the weapons spread across the map, I think it was pretty obvious from the beginning

it would be nice if you get no perks (level 1 too 4 if you get a wapoan per perk a new wapoan too choose so you have maby 8 wapoans but can only carry 4 and one of the perks is for you layout of wapons
