They worry about no place to recycle artificial turf, but it's ok to put batteries from EV's in our landfills. 😆😆😆😆

So what are the more native & green, "other options" besides grass, that take 40% less water? Kind of left us hanging without any actual suggestions.

Try something called "Dwarf carpet of stars", it's evergreen and doesn't require the amount of water that typical grass does.

But how did we not know all this? That is pretty scary how most child care centers, heck mini golf courses all those fun amusement type places always had it while I was growing up and when my kids grew up. How come it has taken so long for us to discover that this fake grass was harmful to our people and animals? And what does this mean for those that have it. We honestly need no more ground pollution in Phoenix or any where else. Please let us know more about this and what should or is gonna be done about it.

90% of artificial lawns in arizona, are filled with silica/sand mix ...not rubber ..so that ruins those statistics ✌🏼 also, pfas from syntethic are way way less than pfas from fertilizers and additives that most homeowners use ...hec some even throw paint into their lawns ff sake🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️. If anything, syntethic lawn in arizna is the bes eco solution , saving water and reducing the amount of chemicals into the soil ✌🏼

Artificial grass is made from the same type of plastic that is used in common household products. We come into contact with these materials on a daily basis and there have been no proven harmful effects. If you think about it, turf is really just plastic. It's not as simple as that. New Hampshire passed legislation protecting it's citizens from contaminated drinking water due to PFAS. The company 3M had to shut down it's plants due to the same water problems. Those chemicals are what's causing cancer rates to rise in this country at alarming numbers. It's what you don't know that kills in the long run.
@user-ef1fd3jb2v7 ай бұрын
@@cbro777 Nothing is simple when the government gets involved. And where did you get your information from that the PFAS's are dangerous? Maybe you should look at the CDC report. REMEMBER The government is notoriously known for creating problems where no problems exist.
