"It's definitely not low water anymore.." | High Water Wellerbrucke / Middle Oetz

After enough people talked about how low the river was getting Mother Nature decided to deliver more than enough flow. The river went from around 180cms to around 270cms overnight, a bit more than you want on the main Wellerbrucke. Though by the morning the level had dropped down to around 230-240cms. Which is more than I have seen in this area but much closer to the realm of what you want for these sections. So I decided to head up for at least a scout, which turned into a rowdy lap of the race course, then followed it up with a joy lap on the middle Oetz, which I hadn't done in almost 10 years. Another joyous day out here in Austria!

The middle looked way more intense than the Wellerbruke. I can't wait to get out again, hoping to finally get my hands on an ANTIX 2.0 hard to come by in Utah, sold out all year

Funny how I don't see this being much worse than anything else you do but that's because it all looks big. I can't see what you are talking about when reading the water. I'm also shocked that you remember all the lines from all the rivers from years past. It's great seeing people do what they love to do.

correct me if I'm wrong but I've heard waka kayaks are good kayaks, probably some of the best but they aren't very durable and break often

It's just a boat don't overthink it. Unless it has something you don't like or like buy it or leave it. Personally Jackson boats have great outfitting but I've had a bunch of boats no better or worse than the others.
