I use it now since a month, and I really like it. Its biggest weakness are the Miraidon + Iron Hands teams. It is really strong against teams with only fast or only slow Pokemon.

For the final game my guess is the opponent has weakness policy terapogos. Mach punch hitmonchan to activate the policy and symbiosis florges to pass the leftovers to twrapogos once it uses the policy

That's what I thought too but symbiosis doesn't proc when you switch in. You have to be on the field when your mon loses their item so I have no clue what blood was cooking with that team. Plus you have to wait for tera shell to be broken for mach punch to be super effective so the whole thing is wild

Qotd: I’ve always loved Spewpa for a weird support mon, with friend guard + rage powder, but the rest of its movepool is mediocre. Plus buffing it buffs vivillon who has always struggled. I think sleep powder is a fairly obvious answer, maybe something like magic coat or foul play, honestly I have no idea

I feel like trying to reset Trick Room in game 1 wasn't the best play. Sure, the Covert cloak is a pretty unfortunate surprise ; but LO / Magnet Raging bolt doesn't seem crazy in a sun team. Thus I think Follow me + Glacial lance was an almost 100% win. Your Smeargle was still full life with its sash, and if I'm not mistaking you were at +2 after killing Chi-yu and Koraidon so you were definitely killing both with Glacial lance.

In game one, you should’ve just used follow me and Glacial Lance. Your opponent already terastallized and you were at plus 2 attack and minus 1 defense and special defense. Would’ve gotten the double KO for sure. No reason to Fake Out and set up trick room when you were one click away from winning the match anyway.

If I get the game do I have to level up / teach each Pokémon / earn the items for each Pokémon? I want to get the game / switch to play online battles but if I need to do the entire story I don’t see how I’ll have time to make a competitive team.

I personally haven't played SV yet but generally you're supposed to play the main story to gain access to all items/features that will be helpful to get into competitive. You don't need to have a competitive team to complete the main story though, and the main story can just be finished within hours, so you can just rush through the main story if you're really itching to do competitive online.

So in the story I need to level up / train Pokémon a certain way to prepare for online battles? Or is there like a section where you can choose Pokémon / items / moves before jumping into battles?

@@sanchilandscapedesign6316 to my knowledge, you need to raise the mons if you want specific sets for them. But there are also rental teams like what Aaron is using, wherein you will use a Rental Code for it (check the video description for this team's Rental Code). I don't really know the specifics on how to use rental codes, so you might want to search this up (or somebody else can chime in).
