The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is not my favourite Zelda game. People laud it, praising it's story, dungeons and combat, whilst I loathe its overworld, restrictive game design and Wolf Link. It's been 8 years since I played it to completion though, so maybe it's time to give it another look and find some redeeming qualities in it.
Today we're on our way to Gerudo Desert to find the Mirror of Twilight!

Have you ever noticed that Midna IS your shadow!? I noticed that whenever I ask to talk to her and she comes out, my shadow goes away!!

No, actually the current shop in castle town is the actual expensive shop. Malo hasn't opened up in town yet. You have to do the whole sidequest thing in Kakariko village with him and the gorons in order to open up that side of the map. As for the southern Hyrule field, the part that was south of the town where you found the wolf, that goron wil destroy the wall once you can get hot spring water to him. Easier said than done, you have to complete the Malo mart, and Goron stuff in Kakariko village before even thinking about that southern wall. After the Kakariko stuff, the gorons bring hot spring water into town and only then, you can do the sidequest that opens up that back wall. weww! that's a lot of work!!

It's funny how in Majora's Mask you can just transform in front of somebody and they don't care, but in this game it's the complete opposite

I'm so glad that you are starting to like it! This is the reason i first started playing zelda games, after watching my dad play it when i was little. However, looking past the nostalgia does show a VERY slow game experience in the beginning half. Arbiters ground has always been one of my favorite dungeons 😁

This was my favorite Zelda game for the longest time. After playing BotW, though, I really wish that we could have seen the Gerudo in this game, too. They've only appeared in a handful of games. I would have loved to see them in this one. 😢

Love this series. For real tho you should do the quest for the Castle Town shop. And if you give just a single bug to Agitha she’ll upgrade your wallet.

"THE" QUEST??? LOL More like, the sequence of quests. Don't make him think that it's easy, it is, but it's incredibly tedious.

Until you get Malo Mart in Castle Town you can visit the Gorons in the building in the middle of castle town (in the building opposite of the expensive store - other side of the fountain) they have stuff to buy

The first part of this game is a slog but the second half more than makes up for it. The final battle is one of the best of the series
