Ive taken a decade plus break from hockey. I would have been out there every chance I had while i was still stationed at Fort Leonardwood. Also I do miss ball hockey..and the midwest. I cant complain too much at least we have a couple rinks indoor/outdoor around my current area. Love to see your progression with the channel and wish you well in your future successes.

Coming from a Columbus area contractor, the city's (and most nearby suburbs, such as Marysville...) permitting process is unbelievably frustrating at times. Good on you for sticking with it all.

That’s a retention pond. When you cover land, rain needs to be held in those ponds and released slowly so water runoff doesn’t overload the surrounding streams and rivers since water can no longer infiltrate the ground where the buildings and parking lot are located. If it’s frozen, no reason you couldn’t skate on it, but it’ll likely grow taller vegetation in the summer cause it’ll drain out.

Nasher, the boards you should do some custom work on them and have like the heatwave flames all across the boards!! I think it would be sick!! Plus it would really add to the space!!
