To those who couldn't read his adjustments and skipped to battle: Roger Passive in Human Form deals dmg based on Max HP% of enemies (S1 Human also has this effect) while Wolf Form deals dmg based on Lost HP% (his S1 Wolf doesn't has this, it was nerfed in dmg additionally). They removed the slow effect of basic attack in human for this, he has more burst with no mahor changes to gameplay

minor mistake. his human form deals extra damage based on the enemy's current hp, not max hp.

Roger is already a good hero before(and yeah, someone else played him before this), but with the buffs, he's definitely doing much better now. At times, all it takes is player's feedbacks on certain heroes to tilt their power level to their favor. That roamer on the 2nd game is genuinely helping fella Junglers clear up faster, but accident happens(apologies in advance if that ever happens! XD ). That last-hit fella, though? Definitely not a cool thing to steal buffs. Like, for real.

Since you always provide us with tips. 1. Have more up time on buff in Wolf form & 2nd, you can stack both human & Wolf buffs to chase / burst down enemies.

After this adjustment you can play him with semi-tank build as well. Just buy dhs, war axe, thunder belt as core item and last two are defense item based on opponents.

Tip, use 2 nd skill when starting an game, it makes your basic attack on both forms to attack faster, so > speed on first creep

Start with 2nd skill at lvl 1, it takes the same amount of time clearing jungle with literally no mana consumption

If you really wanna play roger, there are some important bits that you need to remember. One of it is like maintaining Wolf form abit longer if you are sure that you would get hit, since wolf form gives you hybrid def. This is why you would feel like sometimes Roger feels sturdy and sometimes he's just an easy kill. Second one is just pure confidence. This might be vague, but this is an important thing to have. You can't describe Roger without mentioning the word risky afterall. Just build up the experience, get a good grip on the damage measurements, and this thing would naturally flows in to you. 20 match would be fine for some people, but if you still can't get a good grasp you probably need 30-ish match for you to feel it. Just remember that "Reckless" and "Confident" is two words that are similiar but a different counterparts, the thing that differentiate it is just experience.

@@iqbalfaturrohman8868 Both crit and dhs build is fine. It's really about the matchup, and with the way Roger 2nd skill changed 2 attack speed item is now more than enough to cover up his atk spd. I personally like building crit more lately since snowballing with crit build is just way more efficient than dhs build. Mine is like WT > Hunter Strike > Berserker > BoD/Haas > Pistol. Dhs build is just dhs corrosion without Golden staff, but on my opinion BoD is really just a staple for Roger since he would always go for low hp heroes.

I would recommend the classic Trinity build with Malefic roar for Roger after this revamp, especially against tanks, and prioritize leveling up the 2nd skill. You could even go for wind talker instead of DHS if the enemies are rather squishy and there’s no stun.
