You can definitely say Akira Yamaoka heavily inspired this kind of genre of music. That sense of melancholy, combined with darkness and ambient wonder. And we have him to thank for it, otherwise, I'm not sure this would be even remotely possible.

Love this playlist a lot, I've been listening to it on repeat lately. Some of the songs (specifically "Disappear") also remind me of Knock-knock if you're familiar with it. This is incredible ❤

Excellent work. Captured the melancholy yet calm and serene vibes of Silent Hill. I feel like people so frequently confuse the tone of these games with Resident Evil when Silent Hill has always been more "subtle coffeeshop horror" compared to Resident Evil's "action movie horror".
