Shannon! Dental work can cause a flare up of your cold sores in your mouth! It happens to me whenever I have dental work and I too get fever blisters and cold sores “Trauma” to the mouth is what causes the flare up! You need to just take valtrex

Hi Shannon, I got shingles a couple of years ago (I'm in my 30s), so it can happen. Thankfully I caught it right away and started taking meds for it right away which cleared it up very quickly for me. Because I caught it so quickly, it never turned into anything horrific for me. I would recommend that if you think it's shingles and you have the meds, just start taking them. It won't hurt anything and catching it quickly was the best thing I did to keep my shingles mild.

Shannon! I had shingles on my face this summer and I need you to trust me and do the following! I never blistered wnd my doctor was shooketh that I was able to stop shingles in their tracks!! First of all, don’t put aquaphor or anything! Your doc will prescribe valtrex and steroids. Take zinc, vitamin c, vitamin d, and l-lysine complex. Cold rag or ice pack!

Aquaphor shouldn’t be worn in the sun! It can intensify the sun and give you a burn, I learned this the hard way waking up from a boat trip with huge swollen lips!

Hi girlie swirlies! I once dermaplaned my face, then slathered Vaseline on my face, and the next day, my face was so messed up. Lots of raised bumps and swelling. So I bet you cut your mouth with a chip then applied Aquaphor and it caused reaction.

Def look into it, but I've heard bad things about aquaphor and sun exposure. Just a thought!
