Yeah I want a smell similar to the first one, too. I bought a second, but it had some very strong Barry female smell.

@@bjorn980 I actually hated the smell of the first version of Arcadian Clay so bad. It was literally the worst smelling hair product I've ever used. That's why I was asking how this compares to that one cuz I don't want it to smell anything like that one.

So from what I see, the new one has Carnauba and Candelilla wax while missing some PEG compounds. Is that correct?

More or less. Wax blend has changed as well as a few other components in the formula. Sorry to just now respond to these KZfaq comments. For some reason we did not get a notification or email about them for our last several videos.

Does it still break down to the same sticky tack? I’m on my second jar (first was the og) using the second formulation. It’s been awhile since using and really diggin it. Based on ingredients, looks like a hybrid of this clay , and o’douds matte paste. Always assumed the result would be good..will have to try it, Thx👍

Some may. It's really difficult to keep the Amazon listings straight as several sellers have the product. We do not even have full control over the listing. Many times the info has been out of date or just inaccurate. If you want to be sure it's the latest formula, we recommend just ordering direct. Thanks!

No, the Clay Pomade is a lighter product than our Matte Paste.

if you are wasting your time going through all this every morning, no wonder why most men don't use hair products like these! You should be able to just apply hair product to towel dried hair and go about your business.
