23:54 Yes, the letter is very much implied to be a conversation between Alice and Orpheus. Alice was adopted by a medical professor and became his experiment test subject (after Orpheus’ attempts to adopt her failed.) Orpheus pretended to be one of the doctors assisting the professor in order to watch over Alice and it’s implied here that he aided in her escape which helped her regain her memories. Yet the two were still separated for a long time after this. Also Barmaid’s missing brother Sam is implied to be “Dr. Bourbon” mentioned in this letter. (Presumably he's the guy with the mole and glasses in AOM 2. The two were adopted siblings but I think Netease gave him a mole like Demi in order to suggest that he’s Sam.)

the adoption attempts weren't real... it's more like fake lore since it wasn't by the official people and the reasoning behind him not being able to adopt her (not being blood related) counters the fact that the doctor who adopted her isn't her family anyways... and while it implies that Orphy was talking to her, he was away at the time of this and couldn't have been there in person... this coupled with the fact that it mentions semi-juvinile handwriting (singular) and Orphy being 3-4 years older than Alice and there not being another person's handwriting there shows it wasn't literally him. Alice has been stated multiple times to have only gotten through due to Orphy's voice... but he didn't see her at that time. Most likely she is writing to herself, pretending that Orpheus is speaking to her.

@@realbedo Sorry ahead of time if I’m misunderstanding anything but the adoption attempts were real as they’re from Orpheus’ 2023 letter. In turn, it’s official lore. Also he was there in person with Alice as we see him dressed as a doctor with Sam in Ashes of Memory 2, it’s because of Orpheus' writing to Alice that she was able to escape the professor by him telling her where the key was.

@cherubtan462 as someone else said, it's not official lore anymore. he was denied access to visit her. which is good considering all of the eurydice and orpheus content and such... if he really requested to adopt her in official lore... that'd be... something.. and yeah, there is the picture of orpheus and the other doctors together exists but at the time of alice writing these notes she would have been taken to melbourne to which orphy didn't know she was there since he was preoccupied with the manor games and in london... that and like I said before it's one handwriting, somewhat juvenile too... so alice would be an older teen like 18 and like I said... Orphy didn't know where she was... and calls her "Miss Deross" in her deductions so he didn't know she was taken to Australia... it's confusing but it couldn't have actually have been Orpheus writing to her...

@cherubtan462 if you don't believe it wasn't orphy off of the timelines not lining up... at least think about why orpheus would have the same juvenile handwriting as alice. he wouldn't.. he doesn't have the same exact handwriting as her and I doubt that he's forging his handwriting for a secret letter between him and her... it's most likely that alice is writing to herself, forgetting about the note and rediscovering it through all the tests... and pretending that it's orpheus talking to her for her comfort

Jornalist players are honestly THE BEST!!! I had a match today where i had to kite for a bit till cipher was primed, and i eventually do get chaired, BUT the Jornalist was nearby the area, and the momment the hunter took 5 steps away from the chair, she did a PERFECT INSTA RESCUE!!! And i kinda feel like we won because of that rescue ngl (the hunter gave up a bit after that happened) And as a bonus just to get a few giggles out of me, when i went to go watch the match replay afterwards i saw the Alice in the back following me while holding her camera to the Naiad like "DON'T DO IT, I WILL BODYBLOCK FOR THIS COMPOSER,I WILL SEND MY ORPHY OUT GRACE" 😂😂😂 Anyways, HAPPY BDAY ALICE!!!🎉🎉🎉

talking about it; my predictions for coa 8 in 2025 are S tier Joseph (since netease hates violetta so much) A tier for Alice (Coa protag), Orpheus, Charles, Edgar and Memory (free/shop skin) Time loop - Time stopping with photos or drawings themed. (Joseph and Alice have cameras, Orpheus, Edgar and Memory have papers) They probably want to remake the whole world in coa 8 since in coa 7 everything got destroyed by hastur. Also maybe Alice finds her little self and thats why memory appears in this coa, sorry i cant help but talk about this whole concept i made i love it #ALICEFORCOA2025

Hey Zeez!! So sorry to bother, but since u play idv on pc i just gotta ask. I used to play on mobile but since it is very laggy i switched to pc. At first when i downloaded it just said drwg.exe error and didnt wannaget in. Fast forward a year later (like march of this year) after i got my pc back from some type of fixing, i downloaded it and it worked and i played up until yesterday, when i got hacked. I had to put my pc up for basically a reset of everything due to the virus. And now when i downloaded it again it says drwg.exe again. Im pretty bummed out abt this since i had a lot of fun playing on pc, so i just gotta ask if u know anything abt that or if someone in the comments had a similar problem.

dwrg.exe should be the application to open on PC. There is a "dwrg_repair.exe" you could try running. If that doesn't work, I suggest uninstalling and then reinstalling IDV.
