Works great, my grandson has one. Never leave operator seat. Tractor must be 4 wheel drive.

You do have to set the anti scalping wheel height and insert the two safety pins. Almost hands free.

It's that easy if it's set up properly, and you remember to have the pto lever set to rear so the mid can spin freely. You do have to get off the tractor to put the safety pins in and set your gauge wheels, but auto connect is great.

Don’t you have to still manually connect the pto shaft?

@@TK-123 No. That is why it's called auto connect. It does that part for you. There is a mount that is attached under the tractor that holds up the rear of the mower and it also has the auto connect PTO coupler on it. You really need to see it to understand, but it works well.

It is really nice! That said, I couldn’t justify the $10k cost difference with the kioti cs2520. If I had the extra money, maybe, but the 10 minute install of my mower deck wasn’t worth it for me.

I understand...but I couldn't break family tradition my Dad has a 4100 my Grandpa has a 2210 so I thought it's fitting that I get a 1025R plus we farm with all Deere tractors

@@dirtgrainsteel not to mention John Deere's hold their resale value so well, they are very well recognized, have a well established dealer network, and they have tremendous product support after the sale. More than what can be said about the "off brands".

No it's that easy the shaft hooks it's self up it's all auto connect

You don't have to hook up the PTO shaft by hand, that's the part Auto Connect is named after. It's not 100% hands free, but it is pretty easy to use.

It's that easy that was one of the deciding factors for me, plus the side by side forward an reverse peddles huge difference. That heal toe pedal is awful when doing repetitive mowing.
