3 ай бұрынNew Orleans native Charlie Andrews demonstrates how to make Crispy oven baked catfish. It's like fried catfish but it's baked. The catfish are cleaned, seasoned, marinated and breaded with a seasoned egg, cornmeal breadcrumb and all-purpose flour batter. From there it is sprayed with olive oil spray, and baked in a hot oven until the catfish is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. This recipe you can get about 6 pieces of catfish. It's well seasoned, a healthier alternative to fried catfish. It's absolutely delicious. Hope you all will give this recipe a try.

Update- You can also cook the fish in an air fryer. Same temp and time as recipe. 375 degrees F. for 25 minutes. Keep in mind that air frying times vary depending on the thickness and size of the fish so it can take more or less time. Always use your judgment skills to determine when the catfish is done. If it's not cooked all the way, place it back into the air fryer for a few extra minutes. If it's overcooked, make sure you air fry your next batch for a shorter period of time. Hope this helps.
