@@kevinb2264 no that was 101 Dalmatians this is basically a prequel that they created on their own because it didn't exist before. Yes the character exists in that book, but the story is not the same as this movie. It is not a remake it is its own thing.

This movie was really fun but definitely not a prequel to 101 Dalmatians. If it was she would’ve killed the Dalmatians she kidnapped, but they always have to make every villain good in these live actions 🙄 Disney doesn’t know how to do villains anymore

Original live action cruella skinned a tiger she had stolen from the zoo and 102 dalmatians cruella was so unhinged with her obsession with furs. I wish they would have delved into her madness and cruelty more with this movie. Tho i dont think they made her "good" here.
