7:50 : armored warfare once removed the max rendering distance. This lead to a few tanks sitting in the back, shooting at everything, while a few others spotted. Heavy tanks in their base were shooting other tanks in their base...they reintroduced the max rendering distance in the next patch

QB I don't know if you caught this but the A.P. AMX 30 used your marker to kill the Panther 2. I doubt the AMX moved forward enough to get an actual visual

That panther 2 kill was great, I'll definitely be using the map ping to hit them blind shots more often

A well played round of WoT there Will, always nice to see the Super Conqueror get some love in modern World of Tanks. I get why people were criticising the Strv-103-0 who clearly could have faced where QB was headed and took the kill shot. Especially since it has 40mm plates vs a 120mm that doesn't have HEAT. But the real bit that that puzzles me is how more people didn't realise that this game got far closer to the wire than* it should have. Their Bourrasque was playing well until that last moment and then seemed to choke up to the nth degree and threw the game hard.They got the free hit on the Super Conqueror but sat still in a crossfire under arty shadow. Definitely should have kept moving and took the AMX out close range or just dipped entirely and re-engage. This is all the more underscored by intuition skill on PC (or the advanced reload equipment for all you console players still out there) being in the game making it very deadly to be in bad locations for too long. All in all, a pleasant video of WoT with all the usual quirks of the game in this day and age. Some good hulldown fighting, some team members who shatter like glass on contact, good plays, sensible use of ammunition, a bit of silliniess leading to a memorable game. =)

The console version in the modern tank modes you can see tanks at all times, no render distance, and even if you aren’t spotted you can be seen. Once your spotted is when you get an outline around you tank. So you can “blind” shot tanks without moving far from spawn and shells have a max distance of like 2000 meters

I know I'm a bit of a nightmare at pushing a bit too hard. The issue I find is everyone else on the team just seems to sit at the back waiting every time. Win rate has gone down loads because of the team getting flanked due to lack of moving.

On console we still don't have field mods sadly but we can use an equipment called the advanced loader that won't cause a reload if you switch shells at all.

QB, please do a vid about the A-43, IMO its (one of) the most underrated tanks in the game. I just cant stop loving it, with the 57mm gun it has insane dpm for a tier 6 (over 3k dpm with a full dpm build), and, while it's pen at 112 is bad, the gold pen at 189 is very good. Soft stats are also pretty good. IMO it's superior to the Cromwell in a lot of ways.

The Cold War game mode on console has infinite render distance. But they don’t get highlighted unless spotted. The regular mode is unchanged

Reason I personally don't play my Super Conq is the mobility. It's an awesome tank, but it's too damn slow. So if I want to play hull down, I just load Kranvagn. I even would rather play T105E5, it feels more nimble (although not as good hull down obviously).

I think the ~565 render range is a legacy from when WOT used to calculate things around a player in a square rather than a circle. 565.69 in the length of the diagonal of a 400 x 400 square.

Unlocked the super conqueror months ago and still haven’t bought it cuz am cheap lol. Have 5 tier X and only bought one, the Kranvagn.

renderdistance was at least in my opinion nerfed as they changed from 500 square to the new circle. The circle is calculated to cover the same area, but still shorter distance on the diagonals...

You're absolutely right about the render distance. The console idiots added something called True Vision. It's sort of like the vision system on War Thunder. It sucks.

As much as I like the super conquer I just think it is lacking. Especially in this current meta of medium tank Blitzkrieg and autoloading monsters. Plus, I have the stb-1 and I've already marked it and I got to say it is probably the most fun I've had on World of Tanks in a long long time.

All that Strv had to do was stop and shoot down on the super conq. He wouldn't have died in one hit (possible ammo-rack not-withstanding), and he could have penned the Conq anywhere.

Always liked your videos, just one advice. Change that green chroma key background from green to blue and you will avoid that terrible green spill which makes you glow like Hulk not in his better days.
