Q is no doubt one of the best musicians in the entire world! Nobody plays the piano like this man! He is a cross between Art Tatum and Oscar Peterson all rolled up into one! A true genius! Praise, glory and honor be to God!!

ABSOLUTELY....he is one of the few people who can truly play Mr Peterson's style convincingly, accurately and with great technique and feeling!!! Years of training and practice required!!

OMG This is an example of what a computer wrapped in skin is…. Truly phenomenal, I also think his memory isn’t wiped clean from his formal life where he lived to be 101 yrs of age and taught piano at the age of 17

I understand gaskin is highly regarded in the gospel circles, I understand that there are amazing pianists that we all love to hear… But I genuinely believe quennel is the most AUTHENTICALLY diverse incredible pianist/organist currently living on earth. He seems to be one of the few musicians that I can’t find “repeat themes” no matter how many times I listen. He seems like the one musician god said “ok, this one will have no limitations”. He’s an abyss of musicality. Mind boggling concept.

It’s sounds like my Nord, so it’s most probably just coming from the keyboard(no software or external sound modules used)The Nord sounds peetty good IMHO😊

@@MKS20KW It’s really not about whether or not I could do better. If you listen to elite keyboardists on Q’s level you know that it is possible to have a greater synchronization between unison lines in the left and right hands and greater consistency from the bottom to top of scales and runs. Don’t be blinded by your love for an artist so that you can’t see how even they can improve. And any real musician knows that my comment takes nothing away from Q. It’s the RELENTLESS pursuit of perfection.

It may just be you. It's not always a matter of "elite musicianship" ... Sometimes special musicians just voice things certain ways. If you don't believe me think of it this way. A special musician like art Tatum did not just voice chords, he also voiced "Timing and rhythm" .. still don't believe me?.... Consider that when a "special" musician is playing he or she may not be concerned with the paradigm of being "clean" at all. In other words, playing clean runs may be priority for an elite musician but not priority for quennel, Jesus Molina tatum etc... The idea and timing may be the definition of clean within itself. One thing is for sure, art tatum did not follow every conventional rule and neither does quennel Jesus Molina or other 1% of “special” and that’s what makes them different and that's ok 😎…. Clean or unclean …. It’s still dope
