yes there are multiple other resynthesis plugins that converts audio files into sine waves, Alchemy, Harmor, Icarus etc. But it's indeed the realtime morphing, twisting and turning the sound as it plays which I think is kinda unique and really makes the goosebumps for a sound designer nerd. ;)

You can bounce the audio or… Recording VST audio to another track in Cubase involves routing the audio from a VST instrument or effect to an audio track. Hi again, unfortunately the CS12 doesn't even wake up when I select it as a "controller" within Bitwig or any other DAW than Logic Pro. It seems at it's current firmware it's Logic Pro only....and that's also how it is marketed. It's not intended for other DAW's. It's specifically designed for Logic. Which is a great thing IMO, I always wanted something solid to control Logic with. And this is it!.... that said, it would have been great at least to be able to use the knobs for general CC, and the transport buttons. ;) And maybe the volume fader. hehe... We'll see what happens.

Lol, not so much. This is sound resynthesis, it rebuilds the sounds with sinewaves. And reversing / inversing the sound algorithm ”mid playback”. Not possible with Ableton default devices. 🤷‍♂️😂 I’m by no means trying to defend the company, just my objective observation on how this plugins works, and what’s possible. Though I might be wrong, but as far as I know, Ableton does not have a resynthesising tool converting audio sample to sinewaves. Fl studio has Harmor, Logic has Alchemy. 🦊
