The heat and humidity finally broke. This morning is beautiful! For the past two days, doggie and I played in a kiddie pool (under shade), and it was wonderful! Sister ordered this pool off Amazon and boy oh boy, the dog loved it.

That is so good to hear! I'm glad you are enjoying some beautiful weather and some fun time in the kiddie pool with your fur baby...definitely in the shade of course! 😉 Tell sister she made a great purchase! 😃 I bet doggie is loving that! 💕

I’ll send the rain your way. We had tremendous storms yesterday, wow, I mean tremendous storms. I was in the garage, watching these clouds overhead, and sure enough they started spinning. I grabbed the dog and ran down in the basement. No tornado touchdown, but the sky opened up and it was a gusher! Incredible..

Oh my goodness! I bet that was frightening to see! We are glad y'all are safe and no damage done. Good thing you had a basement to run to for safety just in case. We are very lucky to have one here as well. Poppy put a lot of thought into building here for sure! Stay safe - we wouldn't know what to do if something happened to you! God Bless and give that sweet fur baby some lovin' for me! ❤️

I just found your channel and I live in PA in Farm Country, and this heat wave is crazy, I love Snots the kitty and the rabbits are so cute. Mr. David kinda made me sad and only because someone is buying up our farm land and our Mills are closing. I always went to local Mills to even buy what the commercial Big Box stores sell as Preen. I no longer can get it. Thankfully our local butchers are Family owned and do their own processing. I am in my 60's and it's a lot. My rotating weekends are crazy as I work full time. I do everything myself. I am going to look at more of your video's. SC is where I want to retire. Like I think that will ever happen, but I just love the State. God Bless you and your Family. Thank you

@user-fs6uv6hm5t We are so glad to have you with us on this journey! We are in my husband's grandparents homeplace. We have been here taking care of this place for about 12 years now. With the way things seem to be going we just recently within the past year decided to start our little homestead here and try to be a little more self-sufficient. I am not what you would call an experience farmer. I grew up in the city and I am learning so much by simply researching, watching other KZfaq channels and talking to farmers as yourself. I enjoy sharing our journey with others in hopes to inspire anyone, like me, to start gardening or homesteading. It's a lot of hard work and a lot to learn, but thankfully I'm willing and able. Snots is our little rescue we picked up and took her in. She has really made herself at home here! The rabbits are doing really well too - both are very friendly. Mr. David is genuinely a wonderful man! I love going to his store - those places are so hard to come by these days and I'd much rather buy our feed from him than the commercial stores. It is sad to see our farmlands being sold off. We are experiencing the same problem right around us and keep praying it will not directly affect us. I've never been to Pennsylvania, but I'm sure it is beautiful country there! You sound like the rest of us - very busy and just trying to stay on top of everything! I wish you the best of luck in your dream to move to South Carolina for your retirement. Don't ever give up hope and stop working towards things you want in life. But for the time being, create your own happiness where you are in everything you do! I know sometimes we set goals and just have to be patient and wait on the Lord for answers to our prayers. In the meantime, He is with us and watching over us! God Bless you as well. And again, thank you so much for watching and for all of your support!

@@CelebratingFarmLife Thank you for the beautiful Reply. I know the Lord is looking after me and my furry who only like me and God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, though I am afraid after 3 years of her attacking me and a Million Bandaids has finally come around as she was a rescue at 3 weeks old, but so skidish and only now trust me. I look forward to seeing your journey, I could maybe have a veggie garden but it would be small. I have a beautiful 1930 stone and brick home which can be a ton of work, but I do it all on my own. I am proud and only need basics, but do try to prepare. I am afraid of Canning, but yet I bought what is needed and I also grew up in Philly, so I get you, I learned a ton on even how to cut my lawn. God Bless You and I will watch some of your others. You Tube seems to be very strange lately. Have a Blessed Evening.

@@user-fs6uv6hm5t Your house sounds absolutely amazing! It's a lot of work keeping up a yard and home. We just have to do what we can, when we can. It's so good to hear you have your stuff to can. I was scared of it too but found it to be a lot easier than expected and I really enjoy canning! It's so nice to be able to pull something off of your shelf that you know you grew and put up yourself. The quality and taste are so much better than what you can buy in a store. We can learn so much and we never stop learning! We appreciate you joining us and hope you enjoy our other videos as well. KZfaq is very strange - we are up and down constantly with our subscriber count and view time. I don't know what's going on with their system, but we ask all of our subscribers to check and recheck all of your subscriptions to channels you enjoy watching. Sometimes the KZfaq system will kick you off as a subscriber and you just have to resubscribe. We've had to do that with several channels we enjoy watching! Again, thank you and God Bless!
