Facts there’s games in the store that are still full price after many years. digital games were supposed to be the cheaper alternative to the consumer Now it’s the main source. They’re taking away the consumer rights so they can keep their money look at the lawsuit for 2k games you have to sign a contract now where you can’t sue them.

What’s the point of having an editor for these types of videos? He does a few zoom ins and drops the outro to the video. It’s called being smart and learning how to do things yourself

Let’s be real. Jay wasn’t just an editor, he was a full blown producer. He absolutely carried this channel when Rich had to step away due to personal reasons. Rich got his ego hurt seeing how popular Jay was becoming, so he self-sabotaged and found a way to give the boot to Jay. And now he’s all happytechusa pretending like his career isn’t crashing and burning. He is also blocking people who ask for clarity in his livestreams. Someone last night left a superchat saying he handled the Jay firing poorly, and he literally went on a DSP level tantrum and didn’t even thank the dude for support.

This take is absolutely atrocious. Because digital games go on far larger sales than physical games. Mainly because the store holding, and stocking their shelves with physical games, lose money on their investments, if games sit for ages and then go on steep sales. RIGHT NOW digital games are on sale for 75%-90% off on Xbox, PS5, and Steam and get sold for LESS than the physical game at Gamestop and Bestbuy. Some games like Alan Wake 2 don't even have physical editions at all, AND STILL GO ON SALE... Yes, there are $60 versions of some games that launched ages ago. But for every one of those, there is a Collectors Edition of a physical game, sitting somewhere 6yrs after launch for $100+. Games don't go on sale because "they need to", they go on sale because it BOOSTS SALES. They get to sell them for EVEN LESS MONEY because the manufacturing costs of the games get decreased EXPONENTIALLY. No need to print them onto a disc, no need to print out box covers and slide them into millions of plastic boxes, then pay to ship them across the world. Allllll of that, get turned into a server fee... 1/1000th the cost!

INSANE for 16-17 bucks a month or less with a year sub online found... you get ALL cods.. @@6ch6ris6 Yeah I still have True Crime LA, True Crime New York City & the spiritual successor Sleeping Dogs on disc to this day. They were truly great underrated games and I loved how it was a refreshing change of pace from GTA because instead of playing as a criminal, you were playing as a cop on the other side of the law. The True Crime series had a lot of potential to grow but Activision seem to have abandoned the franchise and im still pissed off at them to this day.

More options = more games, and isn't more games what gamers really want? I dont know why anyone wouldnt want more options. From what I've seen they're only taking down blurays and Xbox games. Physical sales for Sony and Nintendo seem to have stabilized at ~30%, physical sales for Xbox are totally dead though because they've fostered a userbase of people that don't buy games.

Will be very interesting to see how Xbox plans to thread the line between the possibility of making COD "free" on gamepass, but not wanting to hamper too much of the money they make from a la carte sales also. I would think if putting COD on Gamepass would create 10Million more consistent Gamepass subscribers that might be a success? That's an extra $1.2 Billion per year.

They would lose waaaaay too much money to put it on GP day one. Eventually sure, but that's just a bad business move. People are more than willing to pay full price or extra for COD for some reason

No, it won't because they will bring in way more subs, and people will keep renewing. Also, it allows them to bring more people to their eco system, which will end up spending. Add that it's 70 on a huge install base plus coming to the next switch model that drops. Oh and steam players as well. They will be fine. It's a reason sony is concerned if they wasn't I would side with you tbh
