its not even pc-console, its ppl who actually play the game vs ppl who just rat till the end. This is why I gave up on ranked, got placed higher when I just wandered aimlessly, no kills/dmg and made it to top 3/5 than when I got kills/dmg but didnt make it to top 10. Its stupid.

btw, it’s not too hard to superglide on controller especially if you have your binds changed. i used rb to jump and rigjt stick to slide so it was very easy and consistent, i feel like most roller players dont have config tbh

The game is a battle royal so there’s more to it than just being good at fighting if you play ranked. Ranked takes strategy and gun skill. Strategy is often overlooked though.

I haven’t played on console since getting my PC over 2 years ago now. But it’s actually not hard to super glide with controller on console. I did it on accident all the time.

As a hard stuck D4 in many seasons, getting to Diamond doesn't mean you can get to Masters under the old system. I don't know about now.

You're not mean, that clip WAS me being extremely lucky! (It was titled "the enemy of the enemy is my friend" for that reason.) I mean, on top of my gutter tier aim and reaction time that rivals an anesthetized sloth, I had a bolt-less EVA-8, and went from 0 kills to 6! The highest rank I've ever managed to grind myself to was Gold. (This one was probably sent in when they made the ranked changes that prioritized kills, making it very un-fun for us solo queue plebs to rank up.)

alot of these are taken when ppl are ranking up like they are not in their natural rank yet like theyll take a clip of a diamond player in gold on his way to diamond so of course its gonna be hard to guess i bet if they went off what their natural rank is and not what rank they are in the clip youd be able to guess alot more accurately that first master tho was def s17 tho

In controllers defense, the movement of the reticle just looks clunky in general. Even at the high levels, if you took my highlights on MnK you would think I am hella good, but there are highs and there are some Mariana Trench lows

No way super gliding is a masters thing, I do them at about a 60% consistently, (needs work I know) on controller and I’m level 170 with 350 hours on the game and just started grinding ranked.

if u pay attention, boom and kandy are mostly BAMBOZZLED (get it?) everytime is a roller player because u can tell they play like silvers (movement wise) but because of the AA they reach high ranks. Apex legends in a nutshell, connect the roller, put that linear 4-3 and boom ur better than the average joe even tho u just picked up a roller on a competitive fps.
