You know what’s fatuous…. The people who are behind the trading card game went on cow wrangler stream, and asked if they should make an MacDougall card now. What an unbelievable questionable idea. Why would anyone or company want to risk messing with a federal agent and add more to this case? They’re literally playing with fire now. And they can’t hide behind “parody”. One of Daniel defenses is the trolling of him, and they want to make a card of the situation that can add credence to that defense, or they want to set off alarms with feds and get investigated? Beyond vacuous.

I agree with the theory that Daniel abused his mom when he was little because Daniel is a very dishonest person who refuses to admit fault and his mom is a paraplegic who also has Lupus who couldn't take care of him in her condition.

As someone who has disabilities, this does make me sad. Idk what Daniel probably went through but it can't have been pleasant. That said, I do not like nor condone him or his behavior. Having a disability isn't an excuse.

I agree, I have adhd and I knew people who were in special ed back in school and I feel like if Daniel had people around him who actually cared about him and just didn’t manipulate him he would have a way better life and wouldn’t be doing this insane shit. It’s sad that people see an individual like this who obviously has a mental disability of some sorts and just use them as a source of entertainment. It’s lame and it needs to stop. Daniel for his own sake needs to get off the internet.

@Breone I had my parents growing up but I got bullied up until I was at least 17, because I was socially awkward and missed a lot of social cues. I have adhd and what not but the medication I take helps.

I feel for people like Daniel, he was in a institute when he was a younger child, when he turned 18 they let him out, his grams dies, not knowing anything about how to live as an adult, the streets becomes his home. His mind set is that of a 10 year old and the trolls took advantage of him. He needs real help. Thank you for covering this.

It would be nice if, rather than jail time, they held him in a safe institution until his mental health is restored, he's had good therapy, and he's had appropriate medications and been taught how to self-medicate and understands the importance of doing so. I mean, yeah. That would be nice.

I’d be surprised if he gets more than a month in prison. His threats aren’t on the level of someone connected to Al Qaeda or making serious terrorist plans. It’s more like a tantrum from someone with the maturity of a 10-year-old. Considering whether he’ll do 20 or 30 years is just ridiculous.

It's always nice to hear someone looking at this case with some objectivity and awareness of Daniels circumstances. I pretty much agree that Daniel would be better served transferred to a psychiatric setting as opposed to prison. There's no way anyone can look at years of Daniel and the trouble he's gotten himself into and conclude that he is a competent individual or that he needs to be allowed in the general public unsupervised

Yea I remember one of my g’s going over this and instead of bashing Daniel about the pedo shit and bad things fully he went over the many reasons on why Daniel could like younger people due to his mental illness and also how the way you are treated early on in life can have a huge impact on who become in your life later on. On top of hearing this side and how he hasn’t had the best life, I also have a disability and I did have an iep due to my adhd in school. Because of this I knew a lot of the special ed students and was friends with a few so that’s why I wasn’t trying to bash him because I knew people just like him and see a person who has been failed by the system. People like this should be able to live a normal life but should also have a good system of people taking care of them and it’s unfortunate that Daniel seems to either have had bad people trying to manipulate him or just simply no one at all. His parents being terrible people and not being there for him definitely didn’t help either.

Even if Daniel does go to prison, there's no way in hell that he'll be in general population. They'll definitely put his ass in protective custody because of the severity of his case, and his mental instability

He could get 10 years on all of them and they concurrently instead of consecutively. In this case technically he would get 60 years but at most would only have to serve 10, or like some portion of that with good behavior. That sounds like the most probable outcome to me. Now mind you they do say not to go to prison for 2 years and end up with 20, so as long as he doesn't cause too many problems he'll be out in 5 to eight and a half tops. He might have to spend them in isolation so that he doesn't get more time for doing stupid stuff, but it can be done.

Larson has a host of problems, but his story makes for an interesting case study. He may be the first person who was pushed towards literal insanity, due to a concerted effort of people online. He was loopy, but due to our hard work, the man literally snapped.

He should go to prison and NOT to a mental institution Before the daniel larson homeless saga he was in multiple group homes with other mentally challenged people and he would manipulate them into starting drama and getting into trouble and he would make them do "favors" for him. This was revealed in an interview with one of the house keeper. He should go to a prison, so that way he isnt a threat and nuisance to the public and to other mentally challenged people in homes/asylums . At this point it is not whats best for Daniel, its for the people around him he could potentially harm.
