CLP Senator Jacinta Price has teared up speaking about the rampant crime in her hometown of Alice Springs.

Watch the media try and destroy Jacinta when the liberal party give her a job on the front bench. The double standard they will use will be disgusting, they will use everything they have to make her look bad, even though she is the most outstanding indigenous politician we have ever had. Stay Proud and strong Jacinta you are well loved, are doing the right thing.

When I watch Jacinta price all I can think of is what a beautiful intelligent woman she is with so much empathy for the whole of Australia .I hope and pray that someone will listen to her very soon and do something about this horrible problem especially with those small children.I feel so heartbroken for these innocent babies and young children.And as for Darren the baker all I can say is what a tough and strong man he is to have been through so much heartache and he’s still ploughing through mountains to try to get the help they need ,good on you Darren you are a bloody hero in my eyes keep going mate something positive has to happen soon surely.

Amazing that if she was not a member of the right side of politics media etc would be interviewing her daily however, because she is of the right they attack her and I mean her, for daring to expose their and the lefts neglect of the Aboriginal people as the left panders to the activists and Aboriginal Industry who generally are on the taxpayers payroll via various Aboriginal Institutions fully funded by the taxpayer. For any minister (as the Police and Families minister of the NT did) to state Dutton and Jacinta are simply using Aboriginal people as a political football when statistics demonstrate clearly the extent of rape and assault on children under 5 years of age. In every age group from 0-15 the NT was 300% or more above the National average yet the Territory government says it is under control etc. Would hate to see the statistics if it ever reached what they would call a crisis if they claim there is no crisis at present.

There certainly was very little help received over the decade of LNP Federal government in Canberra. The problems were simply allowed to fester and become much worse. Perhaps that was what attracted Jacinta to the Country Party?? 😮😢😅😊

@@Tyronepeader Nice deflection Tyronepeader. Police and health are state run programs although Federal funding is specifically granted by Federal Governments to the states to administer. It is not a Federal Government responsibility to administer hospitals and police but state and Territory Governments responsibility 100%. Sad that you in your response attempted to blame the Coalition Federal Government of the last decade yet sheeted ZERO blame to the Labor Territorial Governments during the same decade. This is why the problem festered as Labor simply plays politics with Aboriginal lives granting them symbolic gestures that do NOTHING to improve the lives of those outside major cities. It is also why the Coalition and others (including many rural and outback Aborigines) oppose the voice as it will only benefit city based activists and the Canberra and other Capital City elite Aborigines. Once again the rural, regional and outback Aborigine will get nothing but empty words. And if you say I talk crap ask yourself why Albo and Burney refused to meet an elected delegation from the outback but at the same time were discussing the Voice with city and Canberra based delegates. None of the delegates they met with were elected by their peers. All were appointed by the Aboriginal industry in Canberra and other Capital Cities. Real democracy in action wasn't it? Real listening to Aboriginal Voices wasn't it? And I might add, 70% of those Albo and Burney did speak with have all been members of every voice governments have listened to over the last 40 years or so. NONE have improved anything for Regional/outback Aborigines in 40 years but here they all were with their snouts in the Canberra trough once again.

Jacinta Price is way ahead of her time as an indigenous Australian. She sees no colour, no race - just Aussie kids whose lives are being destroyed. She is now a politician, and tows the Dutton line. It is easy to quote stats and tear up when speaking of the abuse of children, but this is not new. The Coalition government has been in office for 20 of the past 27 years and these issues did not appear there or at other places overnight. Dutton is advoking for more of the same which places the onus back on law enforcement and policies that have not worked because of the other vital needs in other areas. A voice on issues that affect only them may, just may be part of the answer.

There are dozens of Aboriginal agencies that are not doing their job! The Aboriginals get more than $30 billion a year for 800,00 people. Those that run the agencies are getting rich so if they go in and solve the problems the funding will dry up. Money corrupts! If the white man removes these kids from the very real danger they are in then the whole "stolen generation" is raised again. This is something that the Aboriginal agencies should be assisting the white people who genuinely care to resolve. Above all these kids need education, care and a safe place to live. The Aboriginal elites need to give the children in the bush the same opportunities that they had.

It's time for politicians to STOP fighting over trivial things and come up with real solutions for ALL the citizens of this country. Especially those in Alice Springs. PS. THINK about it! "The Voice" is NOT the answer. NO, to "The Voice"! YES, to the LISTENING EAR!

Compare Jacinta's tears to Albo's. That's the difference between genuine and fake. And as for that useless Labour woman deflecting her inaction by calling PD a dog act??? What a witch.

Probably, despite living there, Jacinta is just imagining all this. (Of course, this is not the case. I greatly admire her for her strength and honesty) I last voted Labor. But I wish the Labor party would stop showing themselves to be ingenuous fools on this very important issue I am not Conservative. I will never vote for them. But I I am now reluctant to vote for a party that do not protect the vulnerable. They want a Canberra YES vote benefitting , it seems to me, the few indigenous urban elites who are doing well for themseves. What to do?

She is 'imagining' nothing! It is happening but it's too painful for you to hear. There is so much more to Aboriginal culture than didgeridoos and dot paintings. I suggest you do some detailed research. The Aboriginal people led a harsh and sometimes brutal life, it was a way to keep order.

The real problem that we don’t like to talk about is that there was system in place for decades that discriminated, disadvantaged and disenfranchised aborigines, why are we surprised that they have so many problems, let’s give them time to heal, it’s goner take generations, it’s a mess our parents created that we need to rectify.
@margaretarmstrong2445
@margaretarmstrong2445 Жыл бұрын
This mess wasn't created by our parents, this is about cultural differences. What we would call domestic violence is a part of their traditional culture. The proliferation of drugs and alcohol just made it a whole lot worse. There is no easy fix to what's happening in the Centre, but black and white need to be on the same side.

I think the vast majority of comments says it all. Given the history of the treatment aboriginal people got in Tasmania, what makes with the Premier of the State having some expertise in this area, or is it simply a guilt trip from his inherited past?

@@slavbrav69 I was referencing what happened after the Europeans arrived. For a variety of reasons a population of aboriginals which was either 3000 or 15000, take your pick, dwindled to 400, these were moved to various islands off Tasmania.

Is it possible to gather the Aboriginal people together in a public meeting? Then have the respected Aboriginal elders name and shame those adults and parents that are negligent and abusive and remove the offenders back out bush. Banish them. I haven't heard one word from the 'Voice' representatives about their solution for the Aboriginal violence in Alice and elsewhere. I'm voting NO.

The other elephant in the room is around 50% of Indigenous kids are not going to school in NT. People in charge are enabling a generation of illiteracy of Indigenous kids. If there is one thing that lifts people out of poverty , its education.
@margaretarmstrong2445
@margaretarmstrong2445 Жыл бұрын
You are absolutely right, some of these kids speak only their own language. The Aboriginal activists were educated and likely went to boarding school and then claim that they were part of the stolen generation. They are the ones who have been poisoned by extreme left politics. They complain bitterly, mourning the loss of a life that they never knew. They need to stop complaining and get themselves to Central Australia and live there for a while. They are speaking out for groups of Aboriginal people without having any understanding of the situation they are living with. These groups of Aboriginals are trying to live life according to Aboriginal lore but it really isn't working out for them. Put drugs and alcohol in the mix and the kids are neglected and abused. What chance do you think there is that they are going to be sent to school? I feel for the decent people in Central Australia, black and white that are being judged in all this. No one wants what is happening out there. The Aboriginal activists need to let go of their politics and get in there and help! As it is now they are contributing to the situation.

How can the elite city Aboriginals keep asking for money if the problem's fixed. They don't want it fixed, they just want to make it seem like the white man is not doing enough. They have made it political, they have made it about race. We need to audit the money being handed out to see just where it's going because in certainly isn't going to the people in remote areas. Power and greed, they don't really care.
