This is a weird comment BUT, watching these casted games / watch you play sometimes really make it easier to get through the day, thanks and don't stop.

A simple Gold3/ Plat 1 made it to Drongo's Thumbnail, hell yeah! :D That amount of palace guards really caught me off guard (double supervision..). So many ppl play your strat, China is becoming really annoying in FFAs. Lesson learned though, should have rushed castle or hit your dock/ tower wood early, ideally both. Is there a reason you always put your king's keep so far from your base and production? Why wouldnt you have it near the water? Water and map limit can provide you with 2 built in points of defence instead of 1 when you are just hugging map limit. Better yet, it's closer to your production and you also have an escape route via a transport ship. This way for you to lose, the enemy needs both land and water power. Considering water is in the core of ur base, if they get water power you have lost either way

Tuning here Mr. Drongo, just wanted to say: how awesome for Age of Empires to have both FFA and Nomad on the menu! It is like a new game was unlocked, on a game I had already bought. I know that people played it on the custom rooms but my friends never liked it, now that it`s in the menu it`s kinda official for them I guess.

A real AGI couldn't have played that much better !

Mr drungo may i ask why you put resources into war junks and not just into building production? Make units burn the docks. then he cant use his fishing ships and now you have ground units to use and military production buildings. I am curious since once the doc was gone now the Junks were useless

Drongo please ask them to fix cross play! :( If you set it to controller only you get an infinite load screen where I didn't before. And playing against PC players simply makes the game not fun when your not trying to play for the Elite Classic.

A couple good late game tips for china: 1)try to place farms exactly how drongo did, those are the most effective. 2)Don’t place granaries next to each other because you’ll lose farm effectiveness. 3)try to place it in the back of your base preferably surrounded by stone walls so raids become essentially useless to anyone who tries to hit your food eco. If walls aren’t an option, lots of outposts and keeps will also work. 4) Eco upgrades are mostly personal preference but most china players build multiple town centers and therefore have a higher number of vils, getting eco upgrades sooner rather than later can be beneficial, but not necessary. If you notice most people are running behind on their eco compared to you, get your eco upgrades and quickly over run them with a superior economy. 5) The imperial palace landmark ability is very good, use it constantly when the cooldown ends as it gives you more and more line of sight and will continue to give you info on the map and enemy units, most people only use it a couple times and forget about it but it IS important late game. 6) Lastly, always hide 1 of your 7 landmarks (preferably not your main starting TC) MINIMUM, it a hard to reach and hidden location in case of raids, walls and natural obstacles can also prevent raids, but usually 7 landmarks is too many for a china to be raided but it can happen.
