I'm from Texas, but me and two friends piled our money together that summer and drove to LA area. Huntington Beach, Malibu, and other great spots. We partied and slept on the beach for three weeks with the locals. I met people who I remain friends with to this day. Easily the most memorable summer of my life.

I miss home now. Cali is home but the military brought me to the east coast and texas. The picture of the F40 just matches the music and captures the essence of what cruising around in cali in the 80's was like, perfectly.

Ah.. Let's see... 1989.. Graduated from college and started my first programming job coding COBOL and JCL. I didn't like I so I started getting into 3D graphics by way of a few artists that were into Jean Michael-Jarre. Wore a Texas Instruments red LED watch because I thought it looked futuristic. Learned how to read Tarot cards... damn! 1989 was fun but I'm happier now in 2024.
