In the first draft lottery during the Victor Wembanyama era, the Spurs were able to land two lottery picks at the eighth and fourth spots.
While this draft class may be one of the weakest in recent memory, the picks the Spurs own the rights too have the potential to be some of the most crucial picks in adding young talented players around Wembanyama.
In this video, I talk about the three players who could be up for grabs in their pick slots and why they would fit with the Spurs.

The fact you trash on this draft is the reason the past 6 MVPs are international 😅 is not a bad draft is UNPREDICTABLE that's very different.

Compared to recent memory, this draft isn’t nearly as good as past ones. There will never be no good players in drafts, but after the last few classes, this is one is certainly underwhelming. But I COMPLETELY agree with the fact this is a very unpredictable draft. I’m confident Sarr goes 1 but after that, I truly have no idea what we could see take place.

Reed is way better than dilly, crazy vert, better shooter, better defender, same playmaker, rob can create his shot better but we have dev and Vic to create the shots we need knockdown shooters and more defense.

Carlton Carrington he is a 6'5 PG he is a passer, good 3pt, 2pt shooter, and got one of best dribblings skills in the draft

I want dalton Knecht with that 8th pick. Imagine the spacing for wemby with Dillingham, Kneckt, & Vaseell.

The spacing and shooting would be amazing, and Knecht can easily be integrated into the starting lineup over Champagnie which would be AMAZING. But I do think Holland is still the best prospect and has the highest upside to be an elite two-way player. We’ll see what happens come June!

@@tytalkssports Maybe it’s just me but I just have a hard time trusting those g league ignite prospects. I wouldn’t be terribly upset with that pick because of the potential BUT GIVE ME SHOOTERS

In weak a draft class go for high ceiling. Topic and Williams/Risacher. 2025 draft is where we find our core pieces

I say go castle 4 for the guaranteed upgrade in defense while 8th to potentially fix shooting or PG problem, get the for sure upgrade first and biggest upside 2nd

I’m even okay with Holland at 4 and potentially Castle at 8. I still need to watch his film though. I may even be okay with Matas Buzelis at 4 but I’d MUCH rather take Dillingham.

*Topic* is absolutely not a 30% 3P *26=/=30* Also you're assist/turnover ratio is wrong In Mega 2023/2024 he had 85 assists and 35 turnover (12 Games Played) + In Crvena zvezda 2023/2024 he had 10 assists and 5 turnover (2GP) => 95assists, 40 turnovers => 2.26 assist for 1 turnover... for a PG it's to much...

Just curious but what are your thoughts on Clingan? I get that we need a point guard but we could re-create the modern Twin towns with Donovan & wemby

Nobody is scoring on them. They need to get a backup center but doing that at the third pick with a guy like Clingan I think is a reach. I honestly expect him to go in the top 3 before us.

Alien in the Mask 👽, this draft is anything but weak ... Im not even taling about the top 14. Thrre are few gems after the lottery that can become Superstars nit just stars... Ill say countries , like Serbia , or Germany or Spain, i can say a center who weighs and moves like shaq with the hheight of yao ming isnt worth looking at or a six five point guard with all the traits u want that nobody isnkooking at .. or a future rebounding defensive machine that wont make it to the second round once personal workouts come in play. ...alien in the Mask👽.... all in for trae young and sarr ? I like this duo but you can't made all in right now ! The spurs must draft several players in the next 2 drafts to increase the chances of finding the right talents! If you go straight away in one direction, it's the best way to have flops and have nothing left to make up for it.

@@Jamar-lg9ob It's pretty but it's NBA 2k construction! Not a Spurs construction! The Spurs will build around their young players. Vassel and sochan will be part of the team equation. The important thing when building a team is to always maintain flexibility with draft rounds and average contracts.
