So very special this video! Living on the Central Coast of Calif. we do not enjoy of course the " WARM" waters! The sharks are usually Tiger or Great White! I am still stuck on "Halibut" for a favorite fish dinner! YOU bring such wonderful experiences to our screens! Thanks to YOU and your CREW for the entertainment and education!!

Hi Lauren.. I'm a trucker and was picking up a load near Miami once.. I arrived on Friday.. and they said it would be loaded by Monday.. So.. me being SCUBA cert'd.. I dropped the trailer and went for a drive the next morning. I headed down towards the keys.. and found a dive shop (quiescence) and signed up for an afternoon dive. I had a blast. We came across a big turtle tangled up in a bunch of fishing line which had slowly killed it. So they called marine rescue to come remove it. While on my dive.. A friendly nurse shark came close enough for me to touch it.. Wow.. it was a soft rubbery feel. I wanna dive with some dolphins someday..

What videos do I like best?, after some thought I will have to admit I don't think there is one that I haven't enjoyed, some more than once. For me, I just like seeing you have a fun time with your charted guests, your friends who have come to help or just you and Mako. Watching you handle the repairs as they arise, showing your guests such a good time on, under the water makes my heart swell with pride at being able to share your life with you.

How cool. I checked my DNA 4 or 5 years back. My grandparents on both sides are from Sweden. It came back 94% Swedish, 4% Danish, and 2 % Norwegian. It even pinpointed the area in Sweden they were from. Love the video as always!!

Another ripper episode! Love those waters. And your charter people seemed like such a great bunch. Saw the "Heritage" advert, and 100% said, "Yup, German/Scandanavian, Without a doubt!" Knew it day one. When I first started watching your videos, I did a total doubletake, as you are a 100% doppelganger of an old ex from 10+ years ago. She was a German surfer. Definitely could be sisters! But those days are long gone! Too fat and old now, happy to sit back, watch a great video, and reminisce! Keep up the great work, Lauren. Amazing Video Lauren. Those are some serious props on Mom & Dad's Sportfish yacht @ the 14:05 mark. I bet it gets up and goes. Makes me feel nostalgic and miss my 1980's Hatteras 60 Convertible. I'm developing an appreciation for the no watch, no schedule, nowhere to be and all day to get there, Sailing lifestyle as I get a little older and wiser though. I certainly don't miss the sticker shock every time I had to fill those 1600 gallons worth of diesel tanks up after a charter run out to the Middle Grounds and back on a charter from the Homosassa/Crystal River/Yankeetown/Cedar Key area though. Those dual 650hp Detroit Diesels had no problem burning up to 7-10 gallons per hour each at 10 knots and under. They got very very thirsty at anything over 10 knots. They could burn through that 1600 gallons of fuel quick of you got impatient and heavy handed on those throttles. With diesel prices on the water averaging $4.50-$6 a gallon on the gulf coast right now I'm glad I sold the old girl back in 2014. These prices.make me appreciate Sailing Vessels even more. My next boat in 4.or 5.years. when my 10 year old Collies cross that 🌈 bridge in the sky and I sell the house I am gutting and remodeling and all my properties and stuff is going to have one of those wind wing holding vertical sticks on it for sure.

The heritage thing is pretty cool, I did my DNA a couple years ago and discovered I’m mostly Western European followed by Scottish, then Irish ect. Very interesting finding new relatives too. ✌️
