Nick is a professional clock horologist, who obviously has WAY more experience than you. Maybe you should listen to what he says, rather than being a jerk about it. It may cost you one day. Just saying.

I have a small clock collection and I have never once tried winding the clocks while they’re chiming and I also try winding them slowly so I don’t break the springs, I’m also an amateur clock repairman
