It’s Time to Plant The Hedge On The Family Farm Terceira Island, Azores

It’s been a long week on the family farm we spend time planting 300 hedge plants it’s back breaking work but always worth it
We are excited to see some of our crops coming up new green beans and corn we are still waiting to see to potatoes plants break through the soil hoping to get some rain next week
The bulls are doing great mischievous little ones broke through the electric fence and drained the battery all to help them selves to plenty of fresh grass
big announcement the family will be outside the up coming cafe during the bull fights with a small food and beverage booth selling beer and sandwiches in Porto Judeu May 30th Miley and I will be volunteering our hand come by and see us

I know and I can’t find my back brace 😡 but honestly it’s my legs and thighs that hurt but I’m super proud of the job we did it’s going to look amazing a few years down the road

Are the hedges just for beauty, or another purpose? Can't wait to see them grow.

The hedge is mainly to help protect whatever we grow in this plot of land we get a lot of wind and salt because this property is so close to the water

Thank you 😊 this particular plot of land will be for seasonal vegetation for now, but we do have a goal of planting 100 more banana trees at a different plot of land that begins next week thank you for your kind comment 😊

Olá my friend. So what did you plant on the 1st hedge? 2nd and 3rd hedge.....everything? 250 of??? I could have jumped in the water today, I was sweating so bad, I had to take a shower and change clothes! LOL!! At least there cows and not bulls! 😂😂😂 What's the name of the on or 2 little villages you showed before the banana groves? Port Martin's? Looks like the bees are having fun....which is a great thing for them bananas!! You have a great weekend. Go watch a bull run! What's the name of the plant, not the cor...lol. ✝️🙏❤🇺🇸🇵🇹👣🌻☘🤗

It’s all the same hedge plant I don’t remember what it’s called but it’s the popular plant for hedge out here we were in Porto Judeu that bee clip is for my father in law I’m try to convince him to put the bee in at the banana orchid lol
