source movement is not part of physics. Only part of it that is related to physics are only the collisions, other than that it is just an AABB with custom logic

@@getawayunclejohn7107 "physics-based" means that it imitates physics to a degree. Doesn't necessarily mean that it is true to everything that real-world physics embodies. I don't think we've ever achieved truly realistic physics simulation in 3D video games.

If you are still waiting for an addon for minecraft with movement like in half life 2? So far, there is no such mod, but there is Squake. There is no ABH, but only a bunnyhop like in half life 1.

@@InitialAA Then run a server on different computer, so the server will handle the chunk loading while your pc will only handle the client as long you have the mod on the server-side and the server isn't running on the same machine you play the game otherwise it would be same as singleplayer.
