I love those non specific instructions. My first time in a stick shift at 16 with my sisters kiddo. She says as we’re leaving. Just don’t stop on a hill. All I remember of the drive home was my brain repeating those words over and over in my head. Knowing why I wasn’t supposed to stop on a hill would have been nice.😉

😂😂😂 The first time I stopped on a hill driving a stick shift was my last. I wasn’t allowed to drive that car anymore after that 😅. For some reason I couldn’t keep the car running or get onto the road I was trying to turn onto to save my life 😂. The car would stall out every time. Otherwise, I drove it like a champ.

Morning Jami - Awe, you made me feel so good and grownup - a part of the adult drinking world! I have never really felt grown up or included in the adult world of drinking, because I never acquired the taste for beer, wine or any type of liquor - never enjoyed the sweetness of pop or juices or even grew up enough to enjoy the taste of coffee or tea. I used to slowly nurse one cup of coffee at an adult gatherings, wedding showers, baby showers etc, but I had to doctor it up, with cream and sugar so much that it would mask the taste of the coffee, just to get it down my throat and it was always ice cold by the time I got through that one cup, it probably made it all the more terrible tasting, lol. All I have ever drank was water and have felt as though I never grew up to be an adult in that area. To hear someone I respect as much as I do you utter that drinking water is being like an adult, made me feel wonderful! I still don’t think I grew up as far as beverage tasting goes, lol, but I can try to tell myself I’m just *adulting* because Jami said so!! ☺️ You were *absolutely amazing* with the tractor work today, but that’s no surprise at all, because you are always *absolutely amazing* at whatever you put your mind into doing!! Hope you and all visiting your page today, have a super Saturday! I’m off now to grab me a drink - and thanks again for the water comment.... 👍🤣💞☺️

@purepoison618 OMGOSH! You are too fun!!!! What an unusual road you took on this comment...which obviously Jami loved as much as I did! Maybe you could write a book compiling all your (poetic) comments on YT? I think so many would enjoy and relate! Good to see you and hoping you have a lovely weekend. I'm off to drink my "adult drink" that's always right by my side too...water! 😂 I am truly addicted... Especially in these awful heats we're having in CA...over 116° today...😖 Take care GF, hugs 💕Janice

@stilllearning8360 Wonderful meeting you under the special, first-time-tractor mowing done exceptionally well by Jami, video - but it’s wonderful when we catch one another under any of this couples videos! I think veering off in the direction my mind can go sometimes, is probably very confusing and odd to most, lol, and I believe only those who suffer insomnia and need their mind to be blissfully lulled into a restful sleep, would ever need to read something so utterly boring, that I would ever say! 🤣 I’ve heard about the heat wave you are going through on the coast and I honestly feel for you. We rarely ever get that extreme heat and for me it would truly be unbearable. I feel sticky hot and miserable within minutes of stepping outside when we hit the 90’s. I am truly equipped to handle my frigid snow covered, Ontario winters, better than the Californian Coast or Texan summer heat. It’s really weird though, because most of the ‘bucket list’ places I would want to visit are ‘hot’, lol, try figuring that out, right?!? 🤪 I think it wonderful that you like me, enjoy water to drink and I would love to clank glasses or open bottles together with another water drinker!! I hope you are able hunker down in the coolness of your home and have little to no need to enter out in the heat surrounding you folks right now. This was such an extra nice Saturday surprise to share a few words with you today, Janice! Stay well and try to keep cool, because you are too special to just so many here, to suffer any ills. *internet hugs across the miles* ☺️💗

@@purepoison618 Our shared love and joy for anything and everything to do with this wonderful couple has been SO rewarding!! As to your words/thoughts being boring, I have one thing to say: NOT!! 🤣 You are a wonderful writer and I embrace every word! As to this heat, it’s truly awful. Where I live now, and for the past five years, is the hottest area that I’ve ever lived in. Even though it’s called the Central Coast in reality you have to drive quite a bit to get to the ocean. And we get no benefits of ocean breeze or cooler temps or foggy mornings lol. It’s more like high desert. And I can’t get used to it to be honest. I was one of those lucky people that were born and grew up in California (when it was truly the Golden State!) and, as such, with very mild temps. Conversely, I don’t know how you do the snow lol I would probably just sit down and cry and cry and cry… being a spoiled Californian means I don’t do hot hot or cold cold. I know I will/would get used to it, but I’m still waiting for that to happen in regards to the summers where I am now. Lovely to chat my friend and my warm thoughts are always with you!! 💕🌸💜🌷

Hi ladies!! How are my internet friends today? Janice, im sorry you are dealing with such terrible heat. Ugh, heat takes the energy right out of us. And I don't have a lot of energy to begin with, idk about y'all! 😂 To add to the water conversation I'll share my story with you, if you don't mind. Prior to 7 years ago, I was going through a rough time mentally. I was on a number of very heavy medications, I wasn't taking them all correctly and to be honest I was being overprescribed as well. Anyway, all that to say, i was in what can only be described as an awful fog. I hardly remember even larger details about my life and have to rely on my husband to help me recall. But I got better. And the very first thing I remember was enjoying a nice drink of cool water. It tasted so good and it was so refreshing, I'll never forgot it and I'll never take it for granted. Such a small and some might think mundane experience, but for me, it was magical. Thanks for reading this novel if you got this far! I appreciate our conversations and letting me share my experiences with you ladies! Enjoy your weekend!!! 💙

If I may add to y'all's conversation, I didn't enjoy or appreciate drinking water growing up in the bayou country in Louisiana. To be honest, the water tasted just awful! The first time I actually appreciated drinking water was at my aunt's farm in Texas. It was well water, and it tasted like I thought water Should taste! All those minerals, back before artificial fertilizers and pesticides were being used. Gradually I found bottled spring water, then bottled mineral water that quenched my thirst and makes me feel better. Then I found electrolytes that work even better. I wish even more people will find the simple pleasure of drinking water

😂 That squeak was nothing compared to my dad's hay elevator. I got stuck many a summer day unloading hay racks full of what are now called small rectangle bales. Those things still weighed close to 50 lbs. I was glad I wasn't on the receiving end of the elevator though. Hot, dusty, hurried work, few breaks, and having to be careful to pack the bales tightly together, stacking.

I suffer from vertigo and there’s a fancy word for it but basically my doc said the rocks in my head are off! Stiff neck and certain positions trigger it! Same with the ice skating and tractor riding throws off your rhythm!! Great job!!😊❤

Jami I was self-taught when my husband passed away and I found he had really good toys I decided to stay put here and figure it out and I did it and your right you still vibrate when you get off it is a real bumpy rough ride but I am hoping it is keeping me young shaking me around 😂🤣the ditches use to scare me too but now I just respect them and know the angle to ride them it's fun to see another girl doing it I am proud of you girl 💞 It's funny how I always look back at it and it makes me smile at the reward of it looking so nice happy mowing girl us girls and tractors who would of thought 😂🤣🍹🚜 PS I wear a ponytail and a ball cap that says "lake hair " the beautiful lake is out my front door helps with the sun and the headset for my tunes is the bonus we got this girl🙏💖

Good morning Jami. You did a great job for first time brush hogging the pasture. Lester gives you enough instructions to get you going but not the whole story what to do in certain situations, is that because he still needs to be included in the process? He said on video that you did an excellent job. Wonder why he said do not back up? Debbie just wanted to show you her nice party dress dancing since you were wearing such a nice dress in the field. When I went to the farm I wasn't allowed to used the riding lawn mower to cut the large yard grass only used the push mower to do the little house backyard. Maybe cause the first time I rode a snowmobile by myself I came around a corner of the yard to fast and ran into the gas tank head on. Damaged the snowmobile front end, not the skis just the hood part. Now you have another chore under your belt and won't be afraid to use the brush hog again. Thanks for sharing. HAGD.
