I love how despite the fact that Book seems to be a antagonist and villain to Cody and may here and there- in the end he’s doing everything right to fix their relationship, and even seems like a close friend when giving may encouragement for her final performance.

I think it was to show that Cody and May are not the best parents and they have a long ways to go to improve how they treat and think of Rose. Like, they could have written her a note, but their idea instead was to destroy something she loved without hesitation because it benefited them. Not once did they stop to think about how it would negatively impact Rose, and it was right off the heels of them "promising" Moon Baboon they wouldn't make her cry again. It was, "Hey, we destroy her favorite toy to make her cry and then we're back to normal. Great idea!" But yeah, the way they did it was torturous.

...ok, so : they attacked, ripped a leg and an ear (even though she begged for her life) and commited the cold-blood murder of their daughter's best friend and favourite toy by pushing her over a huge height just so their daughter would cry all the tears she has inside her so that they could shower with them...and everything is normal !

What a very crazy and weird game this is! I understand the lesson the parents learned, but the book character was so annoying and I wish he had been the final boss at the end, so you could kill and destroy him for all the trouble he caused.
