Ray is a good upholsterer, his choice of fabric on this occasion is bloody ghastly, i would tell him to recover before he gets paid, personally i would have chosen Craig who works on the programme who has a better understanding of period furniture

Horrible fabric choice ! No respect for all that fine workmanship just to come off as "artistic" when in reality it's crap ! With all the beautiful carving, which takes an extreme amount of talent and skill to do, the fabric should pay homage to it and the beauty of the wood species. Instead you have a piece of furniture that reeks of bad taste ! If i was one of these restorers my stomach would be inside out !
