Homestead Stash - Watson's Cabin
In Watson's Cabin, you find an old lady. Enter her house and use the ladder in the back to climb down into the cellar. Steal her semi-auto shotgun and leave. Return to the cabin the next day and you'll encounter the 4 sons of the old lady. Kill them all and a lockbox will now be available on the kitchen table that was previously not there. The lock box is the secret stash and contains 1 x $73.

That's one thing that bothers me in the game. After hogtying evil strangers in random encounters, it eventually amounts to kidnapping. Would be super cool if you could take justice into your own hands and earn bounty payments while doing so.

@@Dogpatch0842 doubling down? Haha bold, but still completely incorrect. Masks and bandanas have ZERO effect on Honor in RDR2. Honor is to do with WHAT you do. Do something immoral, you lose Honor. Do something moral, you gain Honor. Wearing a mask while doing something immoral doesn't stop that immoral act taking place. The masks and bandanas are only capable of stopping NPCs recognising who you are while commuting crimes. Admit that you are wrong, or don't bother replying

@Garrysullivanjones I have a 1080p downstairs and believe me, it doesn't even look like the same game. RDR2 in 1080p ultra looks like when you play a PS3 game on a 4K tv. I have never seen a game so different in 4k and 1080p Bring your 1080p next to your 4K and look at the difference. RDR2 in 720p and 1080p is not worth playing since they have put so much money and hours to make that game feel and look like real life.

The loot is random, at one time I got 2 gold earrings which can be used to craft at the fence, most of the time the gold earrings are not there. The Ginseng Elixer is always there on top of the chimney....

hello @lumbagoRDR2 , this is a reference to a Belgian comic book: Lucky Luke. one of lucky lucke's many enemies is the Dalton family. This lady is a reference to Ma Dalton, the mother of the four brothers. Joe, Jack, William and Averell. In Europe, this comic strip is very well known. RDR is so rich in winks. It's always a pleasure to watch footage again.

you dont have to try and enter the house (and get knocked down the stairs) the 2nd time. i just stood outside and shot my gun in the air. you get a bit of dialogue like "whats that? thats him!" and then they come storming out. this game really did cater for every scenario

I just played this game for the first time and whoa I was missing out hahaha. I was rocking a ps3 for the longest and was ok with it since I dont game much. That was until my buddy sold me his ps4 with a memory card full of games but this is the one that brought me joy again!

This is one cool video. The first time I went there I walked in got the Shotgun. Then I heard her say that her boys would hunt me down. She ran out the front of the Cabin jumped on the mule and rode off through the front gate. I went back later and her and her sons were inside. I took cover near the Door. when I opened it they came out knocking me off the Porch. I threw a Stick of Dynamite which went off in the door way, and that blew 3 of her sons back into the Cabin, and one of her sons, still on the Porch had one leg blow off.

@@Voodeville I wish it was being played as much as GTAV. It is a very successful title for Rockstar though, probably the most successful after the GTA series. But for example, GTAV came out in 2013 and still has roughly 100,000 to 150,000 average daily users in GTA Online, whereas Red Dead Online has about 800 to 1600 average daily users. Some of that has to do with Rockstar ceasing to update RDO in order to focus on GTA6, but its just not in the same ballpark. It still sells well, especially during sales and I only hope that people continue to add to the player base of this fantastic game to encourage Rockstar to both make a sequel and more games like it. Near perfection if you ask me.

The grave is definitely new. I remember doing this several times through my multiple playthroughs, and every time i killed her and came back, I'd just find her body laying in bed, just like when you left her alive. Based on that scrapbook paper, it looks like Rockstar went back at some point and adjusted the encounter to add the grave and scrapbook paper to make the encounter make more sense.

I love how they tried to give you the illusion the game has some dynamic rpg elements but almost every time you try to do something a little outside the box, like trying to return the wanted bandit to a jail for a secret bounty, or throw the serial killer to a croc for your own frontier justice, the game just screws you like "Really, you thought this was a crpg or something, boy? Get outta here"

Compared to GTA V what they did with NPC/environment interactions was highly improved. We will see the future in GTA VI of how you can interact with the environment. Maybe we will be able to cuff and kidnap NPC's, put them in the trunk and feed them to gators.

Just took me 250 hours and I'm finally 100% through the story. Considering how many outcomes there are to A LOT of encounters, this game EASILY has three more playthroughs more, giving it ca 750 hours of gameplay. Wow.

Just got to epilogue one and I agree I would save periodically to do things different from time to time I recently discovered there is a lot of unique dialogue when drunk so I think I have 3more play through a planned I did sober good I’m going to do sober evil next then drunk evil amd finish strong with a drunk good play through to end on a good note lol think I will take a break to check out Red dead online

Not in Story Mode. Believe Online has the weapon sell included. I use a mod to be able to sell unneeded weapons

In scenario #3. When U return and find the grave, what happens if U leave before having a confrontation with the sons? U hear them talking, but don't have the shoot out. Leave and return later.

Can you imagine where AI will take gaming eventually? Can you imagine if Red Dead 2, with all its glorious detail, was powered by AI for encounters with strangers, criminals, bounties, and maybe even one day, main story quests and game endings.
