​@@sclmattI gotta say, I'm glad I'm not the only one that still loves Skylanders *and likes collecting them too* Although we still don't know if Skylanders will ever return, I would love to share to you my idea of bringing it back, *in a spin-off game that is* This is my idea of a Skylanders spin-off game that will revive the franchise! I call it: *Skylanders Yin-Yang* It is a spin-off game that *solely* focuses on the dark and light elements. Why? Well, it's pretty obvious, ever since the two elements were introduced in Trap Team, then to Superchargers and Imaginators, they overall had the *LEAST* amount of Skylanders! In other words, the Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Undead, Life, Magic, and Tech elements had like 20+ Skylanders (or 30+ if you count the variants and reposes), while Dark and Light had 5. So, not only will my spin-off revive the Skylanders franchise, but I also want to give the Dark and Light elements more love and attention! The roster will be 32 (16 each for the elements) (similar to the SSA roster, but also include the "gimmick"landers) They will consist of: 8 *core* Skylanders One Giant Two Swap Force Skylanders (the new Swapabilities will be "Stomp" and "Gravitate") One Trap Master One Supercharger (Sky vehicle = Light, Sea Vehicle = Dark) Two Minis One Sensei (Light Bazooker and Dark Quickshot) Here's the storyline: There was once a villainous troll scientist who goes by the name: Professor Dizastor! He had many crimes he once committed, but he only had one goal: ridding all the flowers in Skylands! 'Cause he has a *strong hatred* for flowers!! However, as that scheme failed, he was then put on house arrest (since CloudCracker Prison was destroyed at the time). Later on, throughout his house arrest, he then developed and created a monstrosity Skylands is about to encounter: *The Root Reaper* the Root Reaper has one sole purpose, to swallow and absorb all life essences of all flowers in Skylands! You: Portal Master must stop the Root Reaper ASAP, before all of Skylands loses its beauty and have the flowers die out! Also, I'm bringing back PVP battle mode, Sky Goals, Sky Gems, Heroic Challenges, Raceway (but for Sea and Sky Vehicles, since Land is only for Undead, Earth, Fire, and Tech), basically everything from the past six installments, but put it in a dark and light standpoint. (Of course lastly, Knight Light, Spotlight, Blackout, Knight Mare, Starcast, Nightfall, Aurora, Astroblast, Hood Sickle, Blaster Tron, Sun Runner, Sea Shadow, and the light and dark creation crystals will be workable and playable in the game)

There's used game stores, flea markets, garage sales, and if you don't mind shopping online there's even more options including my shop. There are thousands of folks just like who have start the journey to complete their collection again.

Haha. Yeah, I've learned they can be hit or miss. Sometimes it's just a matter of hitting it on a good day while I'm convinced some locations just don't get new stock in.

Yep, you got it. It was way overpriced. I don't recall what it was offhand, but it was a price that I didn't even think twice about putting back.

Are those two better than the two I visited? I haven't had great luck in Indy.

If I were buying for my own collection, sure. But when buying with intent to resell, I need to be very cautious of the prices. Figures like that were out of my price range.

I don't always find gold when I go hunting, but it's nice to know that they're still buying Skylanders so it's worth checking in from time to time.

Yep! I would look for used/retro game stores, flea markets, thrift shops, garage sales, etc...basically any place that sells used items. Typically a better chance if it's a place that specializes in video games, but they can show up anywhere.

As mentioned in the video, that was at the Parma Heights location. But I had someone else contact me about it and it seems like it's already gone.

That just means they're still selling on a regular basis. So hopefully that shop will keep acquiring new lots of Skylanders as well. Just gotta keep checking and hopefully hit one of those days just after they acquire a big collection.

There is! There are 4 patina figures in total: High Volt and Shield Striker as well as Lava Lance Eruptor and Burn Cycle.

I haven't personally done any Skylanders hunting in Pennsylvania yet so I don't have solid recommendations. But I do know that The Exchange (a chain in NE Ohio) has a few locations in western PA, so you might try there. Otherwise, keep an eye on my new "Shopping Directory". I haven't been hunting there personally. I know there are a couple of McKay's locations in NC though. I've visited the Tennessee locations and found some good stuff, so you might look there.

In my collection? Yes. In the store? Not currently, but even when I get them in the store they typically sell out in a few minutes.

Anything is possible. Just gotta be in the right place at the right time.

I usually just search for "retro game store" or "used game store" along with the city I'm in and see what pops up.

I've only been to the Tennessee locations, but I know McKay's has two locations in North Carolina. If they're anything like the TN locations, they're definitely worth checking out.

Just to let you know one of McKay's locations in North Carolina which is Greensboro is rumored to be moving to a new location in Mebane within sometime in November or December of this year.

I'm not worried about that any time soon. They produced millions of Skylanders figures over the years. Most of them are just sitting in basements and attics. We just need to find them.
