Australian pouring Medium: Fluid art
My Global “keep it simple” pouring medium used for my usual work is a mix of 70% KIS pouring medium and 30% warm water.
Add this mix to paint until correct consistency required for your particular technique.

I add my pouring medium to my paint slowly until I achieve the consistency of pouring cream, approximately 50/50 more pm if needed, not all paint brands may react with this pouring medium, so just test out.
paint brands mostly used are the Global impasto paints, Amsterdam paints, pebeo paints,also Mont marte studio acrylics, or pouring paints.
I Certainly explore different brands and mediums, it’s all part of the learning process.
No silicone or floetrol required if using Globalcolours KIS POURING MEDIUM
“Cell Activation”
Extra special cell and lace and bloom like creation is found with Amsterdam paints add Aussie floetrol until correct consistency required, then used in pour or used to swipe details, “Aussie slides” are easily created this method.

Nice recovery, Gilly! I think the first one was gorgeous colors. What if you dipped your catalyst wedge in maybe a gold or some metalic color and did some swirly vines to define the petal shape?🤔 Thanks for sharing. I can appreciate that some pieces just don't always turn out as we envision them😁😘

Even Gilly is allowed to hsve an 'off' day sometimes. It did seem rather dark the 1st way & I likely would've scraped it, but I've gotten used to scraping mine ~ what I hate is when 1 turns out good, then cracks while drying. No scraping it then & have tried filling in the cracks, putting gesso on to make smooth surface & redo...none of that worked. I like your idea, to put some bright, very different colors on top & try to make it into different painting. "Pushing on", did you call it? Have seen you do similar things before & they turn out great. This just was very dark colors underneath. Do you think it was paint consistency that made it blurry & colors smush together? I do have trouble getting right consistency for the technique I'm doing. Cuz' of fear of it cracking as it dries, been thinning paints more & they lose all definition. (Also not good!) So, thank you for "soldiering on" today & showing us that the world won't end if it doesn't turn out as we thought, wanted. And I learned that paints need to be thicker for "dbl bubble wrap". Maybe I will make a good 1 yet!? It won't crack all over as it dries? What else could make a good painting crack-up while drying? Painting is so much harder than I expected - so many little things to get right. (Sigh) But we live to paint another day, right?😊 Have a lovely day Gilly!

Hi...maybe the paint is too thick in some areas?? Or is there too much water?? Also...your home could be too hot... That will evaporate the water much quicker causing contraction too quickly...food for thought friend... Cheers Julie 😊 I have same problems sometimes too🤗

Hi Gilly I just bought a small travel hairdryer it blows out hot air is this alright to use to do on Dutch pour? Just worried about putting hot air to paint. Your inspire me so much your work is Amazing. 🦋

How do you get a lot of lacing. I like that you move on after a piece doesn't meet your expectations. 😮
