I don't understand how a shot on goal being blocked by someone's arm or hand, intentional or not, is not a penalty. Cucarella's hand looked like it stopped a goal for Germany. That for me = penalty. You see the ball hit a players hand/arm in the box and the ball isn't going anywhere dangerous and it's given as a penalty. This was a shot blocked with a hand, but no penalty..... ok bro. They all speak good English. I think the ref was very lenient on the German fouling. They said they would kick the Spanish and they did. Taylor had decided not to send anyone off if he could avoid it.

Germany had 120 mins to win the game and they are still harping on the penalty. They were v lucky in getting the non-existent penalty against Denmark and I guess their luck ran out. Not sure what the recent rule changes are regarding hand ball, but in my view if the ball is travelling towards goal and the ball strikes your hand which is out by your side, then should be a penalty.

Kroos should have been given a yellow card with his tackle on Pedri, he easily could have been sent off for a combination of aggressive tackles. I don't think the non call on the hand ball was a clear infraction, it was interpreted as incidental but I understand why German fans feel undone. I've seen lesser hand movement given in Serie A and the Spanish league many times. Taylor is a very controversial ref in the Premier league, he can be infuriating but he handles players well which is a big part of officiating.

That first guy has a lot of issues. Not the best team in the world with Havertz. As for the pen Germany were offside in that move before the ball hits a spanish hand. Their hero Kroos was lucky to be on the pitch. Should have been booked for putting the spanish lad out of the game. Taylor pandered to the Germans in the final 15 minutes of normal time. Many fouls on Spanish players during that time were ignored. And every slight touch of a German was given as a free kick.
