Are bears really large predatory carnivors that feed on animals in the park? Or is it that the park bears are evolving and adapting to living with a bunch of "tamed" wildlife?

This is excellent raw footage for Educational purposes. Wild Boar Hogs are also very poweful dangerous beasts. Here a Black Bear is brutally killiing a Wild Boar. Which shows the power and capabilities that Black Bears have! This video dispells the Lies& Propaganda of Animal Supremacist wacos who deliberately omit, misinform people of the potential capabilities and dangers posed by the North American Black Bear species. Black Bears are unpredictable and responsible for the most attacks on people, pets and property in North America. Black Bears will start to eat a human being alive. Never play Dead with a Black Bear attack encounter. Fight for your life. Such potential situations are why many smart people carry powerful effective firearms as a safety measure to preserve human lives from attacks from Black Bear and Wild Boars etc. As one just never know when your vehicle might break down and be stranded in an area where Black Bear are abundant. Black Bear are known to be able to rip open Van/Car doors!

I don't know where you got your education, however I was taught in school that black bears are carnivores. Grizzlies are 15-20 times far more dangerous and aggressive than black bear. Please quit spreading false information. They usually don't attack an adult hog but will attack the younger hogs. On the news last night a GSM Park Ranger said he was almost positive since this occurred right on the side of the road and in front of so many people, the hog was than likely already injured due to possibly being hit by a vehicle and this black bear took advantage of it being injured. They kill and eat injured deer all the time and it's extremely common behavior. An UNinjured adult hog that size is not common. . Black bear are not aggressive unless their cubs are near by or food is involved. What makes black bear become aggressive are the idiot tourists who leave food laying around, try to feed these bear, get out of their vehicles to take pictures or get way too close when cubs are near by.....Education would work wonders for someone like yourself.

@@upserlivinthedream Your incorrect and contradicting yourself. First off Black Bears are "Omnivores"and are Not"Carnivores". You say Black Bears are Carnivores, if you were really "Educated" on the subject and knew what the definition of a "Carnivore" is you would not be making your false misinformative contradictory statement. An "Omnivore" consumes both Flesh, of other animals and Fruits, such as,Berrys , Honey,Vegetables, etc. Black Bears being omnivores do what apex predator omnivores do. That is to regulary kill other animals be it, Deer, Wild Boar or Moose yearlings etc. I am a messanger stating truthful facts about Black Bears being the apex predatorial omnivores they are. So stop maligning me. I got my " Eduacation" about wildlife, as a Soldier, Lawenforcement Officer,Hunter and Outdoorsman. I was trained by seasoned experts as well as by Real life experinces. I have seen what Black Bears are capable of. Black Bear are known to break into peoples homes and vehicles and destroy the insides. In the last few years in the Northeast; in New Jersey a foreign exchange student was hiking in a State Park, where he was all of a sudden, stalked, engauged brutally attacked, killed and party eaten by a Black Bear. In another case a Human Baby was taken killed and eaten. The list of atracks on human beings goes on and on. You can educate yourself as the data is available right here on the internet. Stop spreading misinformation. It is a known established Scientifically proven fact that Black Bears being the apex predatorial omnivores they are also proven to be "Unpredictable" and potentially very Dangerous to people pets and other wildlife. While Black Bears are not as aggressive as Grizzley Bears. Never the less, Black Bears are still aggressive apex predatorial animals (as is seen in this video) which are responsable for causing the most injuries and death to, Human beings, pets and property in North America. Even surpassing that of any other Bear species; (Grizzley or Brown bear or Polar Bear) in North America. Such is mostly due to the much larger populace and range of the Black Bear species. The facts are self evident, something you are in delusion and denial about. This video of the Black Bear, brutality killing the Wild Boar clearly shows the raw power potential that Black Bears have and that these creatures should be respected and Not be underestimated with their capabilities.

Bears are omnivorous predators and no matter what type of bear it is they will hunt when needed and as any apex predator they are powerful and can pose a real threat to other animals or humans if they are surprised or if they have young Cubs around. This bear is just doing what bears do.

@UPSer Livin’ The Dream I’ve lived to the GSMNP all my life and I’ve seen black bears kill healthy, mature hogs, and whitetail bucks. They’ll run deer down the mountain until they’re exhausted and run hogs until the hog turns and makes a stand. I watched a brute of blackie kill a mature wild boar on my place and haul that boar, which weighed 150-175#, up into the steep rocks like it was nothing. He was the most magnificent black bear I’ve ever seen. He had a head the size of one the wheels on my F250 and was blue black like a chunk of coal. Make no mistake black bears are supreme apex predators. The smaller, younger bears might feed more on nuts and berries and clarion but like most apex predators, once a black bear gets to a certain size, pushing 300-350#+, he becomes primarily a meat eater. You can’t tell me a 300#+ bear with muscle and bone mass 4X more dense then a humans doesn’t eat a lot of meat. A bear biologist told me that the difference in a black bear boar being average size or becoming a really big bear is if he can lay claim to a patch where he can kill plenty of meat. As far as the boar hog in this video being previously injured or hit by a car, I highly doubt it. The speed limit in Cades Cove is 15MPH and most of time it’s bumper to bumper, stop and go, and it closes at dark. No one could even get enough speed in their car to hit and injure a hog in there. And one thing you might not know about wild hogs maybe because you ain’t been around them is they like to get down in wet ditches and draws to fight. I think the bear ran the hog off the mountain and the hog made his stand in that ditch.

This would've been incredible to see!! I've lived in Knoxville my entire 37yrs of life and never seen anything like this. I just wish some of those people would've been fined for screaming, honking and revving their engines like a bunch of idiots. It's nature so get over it or stay indoors!! If you don't want to see nature, then stay out of the Smokies as well as Cades Cove!! 🧡🤍

@@yankychannels We have seen several black bear in my neighborhood and also where my mom lives(Halls/North Knox) . They are everywhere in Sevierville , Knoxville, and surrounding counties. It's normal to see bear here where we live ya know? What's rare is this bear attacked an adult size hog, let alone right in front of so much human activity.. I've seen small doe or fawn attacked, but this adult boar was a first and incredibly cool to watch!
