It was so bad we had to leave! 14 MILE BEACH ep32

This week we leave Exmouth and head to 14 mile beach! We had 7 night booked in here however... the wind had different ideas! We had to leave after 3 extremely windy days and nights it was absolutely horrible! We managed to squeeze in a great day trip and saw some turtles. It was sad that we had to leave but it had to be done.

Your late into the window of the nice time of the year to be up there. Sept onwards the heat climbs and the occurance of those windy days picks up as the season changes into summer. I lived and worked in Broome for 3yrs and hated the wet season. Back in Perth now northern coastal suburbs (near Hillary's Marina) and it is pure bliss. We have a 4wd & caravan and frequent Lancelin as our quick weekend getaway, but are planning a Kimberleys trip up north May next year towing the van. If you get down to Kalbarri you will enjoy it there as more sheltered from the wind and prestine place especially for the kids mucking around on the river foreshore

Yep its a bit late we did get told a couple times we missed the good weather as far as wind goes, but we are still having a good time mostly.. We are in Denham at the moment. Its not bad at all heading to monkey mia in a couple of days. Might have to check out Lancelin! Will be down in Perth mid November.

Thanks mate! Its high on our list and our favourite place on our trip! We would happily move there! If only there was more work for me in that area!

Great video. Fished that exact spot a few times. Can float out a squid jig aswell as bottom bounce like you were doing. Heaps of variety.

@@OurAdventuresDownunda i wish I lived there. 😀 I usually go up there 2 or 3 times a year. Can't stay away. That whole section of coast is amazing.

@@OurAdventuresDownunda live down in Perth metro but the missus and I love the road trip and adventure along the way. Just came back from Gnaraloo which is also pretty good. Any excuse to head up that way. How do you rate your van. Looking at something similar

Yeah we rate it now mate did a bit of work on it early days to bring it up to a standard has cruisemaster xt retrofit which is honestly the best mod we have done saved the van in the rough stuff!
