Parker's more interesting bikes were his race bikes. The 250cc prototype and Suzuki 1000 that he converted using his front and the existing motor and rear swing arm. Love the videos!

Another interesting documentary on a fascinating machine. I think Yamaha are the most innovative, certainly bravest, of the Japanese manufacturers - think RDLCs, Vmax, Niken, MT01, TDR250. Not all of their designs succeed, but you've got to give them marks for trying. I remember Steve Linsdell taking one of these GTS models to sixth place in the 1995 Isle of Man TT F1 race behind the likes of Joey Dunlop, Phil McCallen and Nick Jeffries, all on works Honda RC45s - so not a bad effort.

It's essentially a swingarm for the front of a bike but with steering 5:15 Taken to the extreme, you have the Bat Bike from "Dark Night".

There was a guy who used this GTS 1000 for racing in the Isle Of Man TT , wasn't a top contender but unique and impressive .

The GTS missed the point - way too heavy and clunky. The BMW telelever was the best compromise, but forks are still the best solution to motorcycle front suspension and steering

If they were building something that chunky and complex, They could've used 2 macpherson struts, in front. Or 2 double wishbones. Those suspension systems are already widely produced, and cheap.

Because the telescopic fork is Sooo bad...YMGP still uses the Ohlins fork today. RADDS never worked, ever, it was a horrible disaster, even worse than that pos BMW Telelever. But unless you actually ride/race/build MC's? You'd never know. Neat channel but this topic/authors opinions/animated geometric demos and just plain bad "science" are laughable. Better luck next topic.
