A quick tip. If you use button shirts, don't unbutton all the way when you take them off. Wash them still buttoned. Slip on over the head. A time saver when you have wiggly kids. Just a couple buttons to do.

They make a coconut syrup for the pancakes. Nice cards and gifts from the boys. The goats probably jumped the fence. At least they were still on your property and waffles didn't get out. Growing up, my son would always want to get up way too early. I gave him an alarm clock and told him if he woke up before the alarm went off, he had to stay in his room and play, read, even go back to sleep, etc. until the alarm went off. Worked great! BTW he's still a morning person, LOL !!!

Raising kids is one of the hardest job on earth. Glad I’m through that period in my life. Having grandkids is the best!

There are so called ‘sleep training’ clocks for kids that you can set to wake up time, lights out time, stay in your room time, etc. My daughter used one for her little girl, helped all around. May sound a little harsh but it isn’t, it uses objects such as stars, the sun, for littles to recognize.

Also, consider black out sleep canopies / tents , and you can get them to fit beds and cots

When my kids were little they made pictures for me and I wasn't sure what it was I would say to them "tell me all about your picture" never asked what it was and they would tell me their story behind their pictures. I worked in the church nursery from birth to 3 years old and read Bible stories to them and let the older ones color pictures with washable crayons and had them tell me about their pictures. That taught me a lot about mothering.

You need to get Mav. one of those wake clocks it turns green when they can get up and red when they need to sleep. You set the times when wake and sleep lights come on and off. We set ours for 7am wake and on weekends we do 8am. We told our kids they could play with quiet toys or read until the clocked turns green if they wake while it is still red. No lights on until green even if red the lights stay off. It works great for my kids and my mom when she was still with us. She had Alzheimer's and we used it for her just like we did our kids.

That's called a Yorkshire pudding in the UK we have that with roast beef veggies and horseradish sauce and a thickish gravy and put sausage in the batter mixture and that called toad in the hole lol😅
