Yuji’s grandfather died and he ate the first finger in the same day, mid-June. Shibuya happened in _one night_ on Halloween. Everything Yuji has gone through so far: the death of a family member, an irreversible change to his life, being set up for execution, the loss of a friend, confronting the very real possibility of death and experiencing abject terror because of it, ACTUALLY DYING, being forced into committing murder, watching people’s bodies become twisted and warped until their death, watching said people being treated like toys and tools, being berated and made a fool out of by genuinely evil beings for trying to save a life, learning his teacher has been sealed away, having his body used for mass-slaughter, watching one of his teachers *explode,* and the cherry on top of this anguish-laden sundae: *Watching one of his best friends die in front of him, when there was nothing he could do about it.* All of this has been over the course of *_three months._* *Yuji has experienced more trauma in **_three months_** than most people experience in their entire lives.* This poor boy needs a break. I would say he needs a therapist too, but there is not a single therapist on this earth qualified enough to handle this kind of baggage.

There could never be a therapist qualified to consult sorcerers because what they experience is literally not part of the human world to the regular people. The only thing they possibly could do is offer suggestions for the sorcerers to try for themselves and *hope* they work with all likelihood it will utterly fail. I mean the show itself says you literally *have to be crazy* in the first place so they're permanently mentally unstable, 24/7. Sucks.

One thing I love about jjk is how it’s not the main characters anime, the anime is its own thing and the main character just so happens to be a main gear of the show… it’s soooo fucking refreshing to watch a show where plot armor can go wherever tf it wants and doesn’t take away the feeling that anybody can die at any time

the only downside with doing it this way is if the mc is not fundamentally loved then more people would end up saying the mc doesn't deserve the mc tittle, although i respect gege as a writer alot, he himself stated he did not know what to do with yuuji, despite him being the main character of the show

Personally, I disagree. Yuji is a great character. It doesn't need to be deep or moving, he has his principles and stands his ground. Growth for yuji is in terms of power and understanding of curse energy, but he's got his goals already set.

People are begging on their knees to make itadori relevant again since despite being the MC he's got no special connections no powerups and sukuna is not yuuji's 9 tails, yuuji is sukuna's bitch especially after the binding vow and yuuji gets help from sukuna ONLY if something annoys him. And then we have the plot armored side character megumi WHO LITERALLY TESTS HOW MUCH PLOT ARMOUR HE HAS LIKE BITCH WAS TRYING TO SUMMON MAHOGARA SINCE SEASON 1 LIKE WTF IS HE SUICIDAL. Also a lot of people are telling me that after the latest jjk episode's events nobara literally never appears in the manga again lmfaoo and is never even mentioned. I honestly love the ending scene where yugi looks at what sukuna did to the city, Its really realistic like hes not crying his eyes out but hes just flabbergasted, I feel like it really put into motion with the enviorment how much sukuna can do and what yugi thinks of it. Really great anime.

It hasn't been even a year since Itadori became a jujutsu sorcerer. As a drawback, he did not fully understand the extent of his situation. Mahito and Sukuna are true evil incarnate, and he's been dealing with such, while at the same time dealing with existing as vessel when high society wants him dead, since DAY ONE. If most of us dealt with what this man went through, we wouldn't be much past the "curl like a ball" phase 😂

The "You are my special" moment hit me so freaking hard when I first saw it. Sukuna must truly, genuinely hate Yuji, and must revel in the poor boy's suffering, because gods above, he went above and beyond while he was out. A very special kind of suffering freshly tailored for his very special vessel. It's especially sick, but then again, if/when the two clash at full strength, the battlw between them will be especially sweet if Yuji wins while still somewhat in tact.

I like the way the main character isn't that typical character that beats everyone up but the downside of this is that Yuuji gets extremely overshadowed by the other characters that you seem to forget he even exist

It's crazy to think about but Yuji is most likely more traumatized than a ww2, Vietnam war and Iraq war veterans, since bro's teacher, friends, idol die and countless of others as well not to mention that he might suffer serious PTSD to the point he'll throw up, scream and cry to the smallest of things that remind him of this
