I’d never even heard of Sardinia before planning this trip but with season two of White Lotus being the best advertisement the Italian Tourism Board could have wished for, I wanted to stay clear of cities like Positano and Sicily. Since Sardinia is the second largest island in the Mediterranean Sea, and a less popular tourist destination, I made it the next stop in my European summer vacation.
I was really looking forward to getting in some much needed down time at some of the gorgeous beaches Sardinia is known for, but the weather was cry-laughing in my face. This did open up my schedule for a lot of really cool land based adventures. I was also able to slow down and take a couple days to get some much needed work done. This probably wouldn’t be as necessary if I didn’t suffer from aggressive motion sickness any time I travel. (Hence the prescription motion sickness patches and Amazon motion sickness goggles)
Overall, this was the most unique stop on my trip and it was really nice to slow down and get out of the city! Let me know your favorite part of this vlog in the comments!
