I did something similar when me and my husband arrived to our first little appartment. It is a rented space, but now that we are leaving and asked the owner if she wanted everything back in white again, she said "Don't worry, leave it like this please. It looks pretty." I painted some gigli ⚜️, made some lamp shades and other details. But this intervention you did with the lovely copper stove, vintage fridge, marble sink, florentine tap and fresh lavender are dreamy. It’s the begining of July, and I’ve been stuck inside of my Budapest flat for a month now, just when summer would have started, due to an accident, which resulted in a leg bone fracture, hence a surgery, and a long, much energy consuming healing process. At the time of fear, anxiety, that I found myself feeling during this challenging time of my life, I came to discover your channel accidently, by dreaming of renovating antique furniture once I’m fully healed, and get my health and life back again. The searching key words led to your delightful, joyful, uplifting channel, and what a pleasent accident it was! Ever since I’ve been watching all of the videos from your archive, and I have to say I’m so overwhelmed from your sophistication, and all that sentimental richness and content that you’ve put out during the years. Even one video is able to fill me with warmth and hope and beauty, in such a unique way, that it could last even a week, which is something I’d never experienced before with any other youtuber’s work. Not to mention having the access of going through all of them all at once, it gives me such a fundamential life and thought-shaping experience, that only the greatest books are able to transform internally something like this in me. I was laying on the lake side with my mom today, and I couldn’t stop talking about all those moving thoughts, that under the influence of your videos started to come to life inside me. Thoughts, that make me look forward to the future with so much hope and trust, and belief that if I work for it, and dare to go after my dreams, I’ll find myself living a life that fills me with joy, beauty, happiness, just like how you shine it from yourself. Just because they were great artists and sculptors does not mean they had award-winning kitchens. My favorite part of this video, however, is you jumping up and down when the Bompani guys arrive. You have this adorable childlike quality that is absent in most adults. We smile and laugh when we see it in children on Christmas morning, but we "outgrow it" as we age and become too mature for it as adults. It's a shame.
